BEST BET: General Cortez (Race 10)
The Andrew Bell-trained General Cortez (box 2) looks the best bet on the program tonight. This son of the great Fernando Bale should be ready to fire tonight. Coming off a three week freshen up, after starting three times within seven days. Tonight will be his 100th career start and he should celebrating it by chalking up his 26th career victory. Two starts ago, he won at this track and distance clocking a slick 16.93 seconds from box one. Should be able to hold a good position early from this good low draw and be winning. On paper, the Simon Rhodes-trained Nixon Bale (box 7) looks the main danger. He should not be able to cross General Cortez early, so he will need luck to go his way tonight.

NEXT BEST BET: Silver Luck (Race 8)
The Ayden Sheridan-trained Silver Luck (box 1) looks the next best bet tonight. He is beautifully bred (Fernando Bale x Book Of Luck) and is a littermate to the promising Tiger Jack. Obviously, the litter should be able to stay being out of Book Of Luck. Yet to win over this track and distance but has been placed in all three starts. Tonight, meeting weaker opposition and wearing the red rug will certainly help her winning chances. Should be vying for the early lead and prove very hard to beat. The Wayne Sugars-trained Lucky Fernando looks the main danger. Has a tricky middle draw to contend with but should be suited to this middle distance.

BEST VALUE BET: Tilly's Vision (Race 11)
The Barry Harmey-trained Tilly's Vision (box 4) looks the best value bet on the program. Hopefully, we have had a successful night and can play up some of the winnings in the last race. On paper, this looks a race with two winning chances – Tilly's Vision and Jagora Bale. Tilly's Vision can ping the lids, cross the three greyhounds drawn inside of her tonight and be the greyhound to beat. The main danger looks to be the Jacob White-trained Jagora Bale, which should start favourite in this race. There will only be two dividends in this race because there will be fewer than eight starters. Nevertheless, Tilly's Vision looks a good each-way bet.
