Dapto Greyhound betting preview & best bet – Thursday, October 13
We have another large 11 race program to sort through this Thursday night with the highlights being the middle distance series race 7 and the 5th grade final race 6. ARG has you covered with selections in all four quaddie legs, along with best bet, next best and value bet. Good luck with your investments!
BEST BET: Ninja Mac (Race 4)
The Ronald Alcock-trained Ninja Mac (box 1) looks the best bet on the program. This son of the great Fernando Bale is a big black greyhound who weighs about 33.5kgs. He does not have Fernando Bale's appearance but certainly has inherited his speed. Has not been unplaced in all four career starts at Dapto over the short course, resulting in two wins and two placings. All four starts have been from wide box draws but he should be suited wearing the red rug as he does rail well. He has posted the fastest winning time of this field. Expect him to ping the lids, drive through and win again.

NEXT BEST: Kalany Bale (Race 11)
The Simon Rhodes-trained Kalany Bale (box 4) looks the next best bet on tonight's program. This daughter of Turanza Bale is a consistent grand old campaigner who having start number 115 tonight. She has won 16 races and been placed in another 37. She races well at Dapto and has finished second behind Rising Artist and Wicked Fury in her past two starts over this track and distance, both from middle boxes. Tonight, she has another middle draw but this looks a winnable race. She is not the quickest beginner but should be able to hold a good early spot and she can finish over the top of this field.

VALUE BET: Panda's Buddy (Race 10)
The Randall Walter-trained Panda's Buddy (box 4) looks the best value bet on the program. This son of the great Fernando Bale looks a good each way bet. All five wins, from 19 career starts, have been over this track and distance. Last start, he pinged the lids from box four but was run down late by Canya Zeus, clocking 17.30 seconds. Can see him leading again tonight and will be the greyhound to run down. Main dangers look to be Panyam Bale (box 2) and Winry Bale (box 3). They both are average beginners but both, finish off their races well.
