Dapto plays host to a good 10 race program this Thursday night. The highlights being, the short course final (race 5) and Bandit Ned (race 6) over the middle distance for the first time. ARG has you covered with selections in all four quaddie legs, along with a best bet, next best and value bet.
BEST BET: Manilla Beef (Race 9)
The grand old campaigner Manila Beef (box 8) looks the best bet on the program. This son of Banjo Boy will be having career start number 110 tonight. Last start, he was luckless early in the race when finishing a close second behind Due West from box four. He should appreciate this wide draw and get clear galloping room early so looks hard to beat. The main danger should be Due West (box 2) again. He loves racing at this Dapto circuit but was lucky to beat Manilla Beef last start.

NEXT BEST: Buddha Bowl (Race 8)
The Allan Manwaring-trained Buddha Bowl (box 5) looks the next best bet on tonight's program. Last start, he won his maiden race convincingly at his third career start beating Taylen Bale by 1.5 lengths from box eight. That was his first start at the Dapto circuit, but he still clocked a good 17.24 seconds. Tonight, he has struck a suitable 5th grade race with not much early speed drawn around him. He can muster good early speed soon after the start and should be the greyhound to beat. The main danger looks to be Mouse Knows (box 2) as she has a good inside draw and early speed.

VALUE BET: Skilled Wizard (Race 7)
The Kim Sherd-trained Skilled Wizard (box 1) looks the best value bet on the program. This son of the great Barcia Bale was unplaced July 2 after showing some early speed down the grass straight track at Richmond from box seven. That was his first start since February 7 so he should be fitter and has coveted red rug tonight. He has performed well at Dapto previously, winning two races and been placed in another from four starts over this track and distance. The main danger looks to be Sherriff's Way (box 3) but she likes to track out in the middle of the Dapto circuit so this could give Skilled Wizard room to drive inside of her.
