Dapto Greyhound betting tips & top odds | Thursday, July 21, 2022
Dapto plays host to a huge 12 race program this Thursday night. The highlights being, the three heats of 5th grade 1-4 wins and the GRNSW middle distance series race 8. ARG has you covered with selections in all four quaddie legs, along with a best bet, next best and value bet.
BEST BET: Vianna Bale (Race 10)
The Simon Rhodes-trained Vianna Bale (box 3) looks the best bet on the program. This daughter of Orson Allen is currently in sparkling form. Last start, she beat Cop Magnet from box five in a slick 16.99 seconds. Her early split has been just over 5.3 seconds in each of her last three starts over the Dapto short course. These early splits would see her vying for the early lead and powering away from her opposition in the home straight. The main danger looks to be Coastal Ally (box 2) or Kalany Bale (box 1) which is also trained by Simon Rhodes.

NEXT BEST: Nordic Thunder (Race 7)
The Susan Sundstrom-trained Nordic Thunder (box 8) looks the next best bet on tonight's program. He looks very well suited in this heat of the 5th grade 1-4 wins. He has been luckless when unplaced in his last three starts. He likes the Dapto circuit and can handle an outside draw. On paper, there does not appear to be a greyhound in this race with good early speed which should enable Nordic Thunder to hold a good early position. He does finish off well in his races and should be too strong for this field. The main danger could be Glide To Excel (box 4) who is making his Dapto debut, but this will be his first start further than 400m.
Next Best
Race 7 –
Form: 262566 | Career: 27: 3-6-8 | Trainer: Susan Sundstrom
VALUE BET: Never Forgotten (Race 5)
The Clifford Bell-trained Never Forgotten (box 7) looks the best value bet on the program. This son of the Dyna Double One has raced well in both of his starts at Dapto. At his Dapto debut, he was a good second in a heat behind Butterfly Angel from box three clocking 30.14 seconds. In the final, he finished a close fourth behind Little Whisky from box five clocking 30.13 seconds. A repeat of those two runs would see him in the finish in this race. Suggest a 1×3 win/place bet ratio. Main danger looks to be Browse Them Tail (box 5). He has a tricky middle box to overcome but can show good early speed soon after the lids rise.
