Dapto Greyhound betting tips & top odds | Thursday, June 23, 2022
Dapto plays host to 11 races this Thursday night with the highlight being the three heats of the Sportsbet Bet With Mates over the 520m. ARG has you covered with selections in all four quaddie legs, along with best bet, next best and value bet.
BEST BET: Butterfly Angel (Race 5)
The Judith Richardson-trained Butterfly Angel (box 4) looks the best bet on the program tonight. This daughter of Moreira has been luckless in two runs at Wentworth Park, since resuming after a five week break. She loves the Dapto circuit. She has won three races from five attempts over this track and distance. She can show good early speed to offset her tricky middle draw. Expect her to lead all the way and clock about 30 seconds, which be a winning time. The Philip Goodsell-trained Energizer Miss (box 8) looks the main danger but will be giving Butterfly Angel a big start early.

NEXT BEST: Are You Serious (Race 9)
The Donna Campbell-trained Are You Serious (box 8) looks the next best bet on tonight's program. This son of Kinloch Brae has only had four career starts. His first two starts were at Dapto over this short course. He was luckless in both runs when in a winning position. Last start, he was a big run to win at Richmond June 3 after a moderate start from box one. Tonight, he should get clear galloping room down the outside and be able to cross the field rounding the home turn. Looks the greyhound to beat.

VALUE BET: Calls For Calm (Race 7)
The Andrew Bell-trained Calls For Calm (box 3) looks the best value bet on the program. This son of the great Fernando Bale is resuming tonight after a seven-week break. His form tapered off last campaign after he fell at Wentworth Park March 25. He has won three races from seven attempts over this track and distance. On paper, he is the fastest greyhound in this race, so let us hope Andrew Bell has him primed for his first run back. Coco Boomer (box 6) looks the early leader but does run off when entering the home straight. Calls For Calm could settle just behind Coco Boomer, then rail inside of her to win.
