Dapto greyhound tips for Thursday September 5 2024: Megastar heats
Tonight’s upcoming greyhound race meeting in Dapto, in New South Wales, is set to be a night of group one quality greyhound racing on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
The evening has 12 races lined up, including the five heats of the 2024 Group 1 Dapto Megastar over 520 metres.
The races kick off at 7:06 PM AEST.
The main event of the gathering is the GRNSW Middle Distance Series race over 600 metres, set for Race 5 at 8:37 PM. This Non Graded race offers a prize pot of $10,900, with the winner earning $7,175 in winnings.
In addition, the evening will showcase five heats of the 2024 Group 1 Dapto Megastar over 520 metres. This elite race series will be run as Races 6 through 10. Each heat will offer a prizemoney pool of $5,575, with the winner claiming $4,000. The five heat winners and three fastest second placed dogs will qualify for next week’s rich Group 1 final.
