Dapto greyhounds betting tips

We have 12 races to dig our teeth into at Dapto this Thursday night, and ARG has you covered with betting selections for every event on the card.

Race 1: Sportsbet Bet With Mates Maiden (297m)

Our standard maiden event to kick the card off tonight over the sprint distance. The Nicholas Kilner-trained Fat Pizza (box 8) might be the greyhound to beat here. Has finished second in his last two starts after beginning well. Looks to get clear galloping room out wide. Yet to win a maiden in nine career starts, this may be his best chance. The Troy Vella-trained She's Harlequin (box 1) was unplaced when making her debut at Dapto last Thursday night from box two. She was vying for the early lead when checked. This daughter of Moreira should improve this week and wearing the red rug will certainly help her chances. Mark Forner has littermates Forners Rose (box 3) and Forners Thorn (box 4) entered in this race. Forners Rose might be his best chance. Forners Rose showed early speed on debut from the tricky box five. Has a low draw tonight and expect sharp improvement. Speedy Flash Two (box 6) was unplaced at her debut start at Wentworth Park April 22 from box five. Railed home well after missing the start. Has another tricky draw here but could manage a placing if breaks go her way early.

Race 2: Sportsbet Set A Deposit Limit Maiden (520m)

This is our maiden event over the longer distance of 520m with one debutant, the Ruth King-trained Lochinvar Kewell (box 8). He is a son of the great Fernando Bale so could be blessed with good early speed. This is not a strong maiden so must respect him if there is a betting move. The Michael Hardman-trained Springview Angus (box 4) looks the best winning chance from the already raced brigade. This son of the great Bracia Bale finished second behind Rockstar Waimea at Nowra April 17 from box four when a long odds on favourite. Does have good early speed and may lead this lot early. Ferocious Ezmae (box 2) finished third last Thursday night from box seven after showing early speed. From this good low draw, she must be given an each way chance. The Neil Bayo-trained Twisted Kisses (box 6) has not started since September last year when making here debut over the short course from box six. Looked injured and could be the surprise packet first up tonight over the longer distance but does have a tricky draw.

Race 3: The Dapto Blackbook 5th Grade (297m)

The Troy Vella-trained Tongue Tied (box 7) missed the place for the first time at Dapto last Thursday night from box four. Should get clear galloping room early from this wide draw and be the greyhound to beat here. The Christopher Green-trained Lee Keeping (box 4) was an impressive winner when resuming April 22 at Wentworth Park from box seven. After an average start, he mustered good speed to win by over two lengths. Kayden's Cheetah (box 6) is unbeaten in two career starts, winning at Bathurst and . This daughter of Orson Allen has shown good early speed and comes to Dapto for the first time. Meets harder opposition tonight but may keep her winning record intact. Rob's Roy (box 1) is not that well drawn and is better suited to a middle draw. He likes to track in the middle of the course so looks a place chance only tonight.

Race 4: Culture Sauce 5th Grade (520m)

The Ruth King-trained (box 1) is currently in good form, winning four of his previous five starts, all in very . Does possess good early speed and looks perfectly drawn wearing the red rug. Looks the winner and should be short odds tonight. The Mark Forner-trained Jackpot Ethics (box 8) would prefer an inside draw but may get good galloping room early with a couple of slow beginners drawn directly inside him tonight. All of his three career wins and placings have been at the Dapto circuit. Looks the only danger to the favourite. Bella Believe (box 3) was checked on a couple of occasions last Thursday night behind from box seven. Looks only a place chance from this low draw tonight. Velocity Queue (box 2) should get a good run early, maybe behind Lochinvar Lona, from this good low draw. Looks a good place chance as well.

Race 5: Ryan's Cleaning Service 4th/5th Grade (520m)

Only six starters in this race, with vacant boxes in three and six. The Donna Campbell-trained Burn (box 7) loves the Dapto circuit and looks the greyhound to beat here. Has won two of three starts and placed second in the other. This son of Fernando Bale should get a good run out wide early tonight and be hard to hold out late. Appetizing (box 2) can show good early speed and may lead this field early, from this good inside draw. The Allan Manwaring-trained Ashby Rebel (box 1) should appreciate this small field tonight. She is normally a slow beginner but can run home late in this race to fill a placing. Zipping Quokka (box 5) can show early speed but struggles to run out the Dapto 520m. Only a minor place chance for first four players.

Race 6: Happy Birthday Teri 1-2 Wins 5th Grade (520m)

The Ian Vassallo-trained Nonna Lena (box 2) has found lots of trouble in her last two starts over this track and distance. This daughter of Beat Unleashed is due for a touch of luck and may get it tonight. With a fast beginner drawn inside, she could get a good run around the first turn and be hard to hold out. Looks a good winning chance. The Richard Muscat-trained Charlm Machine (box 1) looks the early leader from this great inside draw. Was a good winner last Thursday night from box six, clocking a personal best time of 30.13 seconds. Looks the greyhound to run down. Mount Gower (box 7) can show early speed and did win her only start over this track and distance, beating the luckless Nonna Lena, March 31 from box two. Mark Forner has Jazzy Pack (box 8) entered in this race. Has won and been placed from wide draws at Dapto so must be included into all trifectas and First4 betting. Firey Flash (number 9) could be in the winning mix if he gains a start here.

Race 7: GRNSW Middle Distance Series 5th Grade (600m)

This is the first of two middle distance series 5th grade races tonight. The -trained Ultra Impressive (box 2) looks the greyhound the beat in this race. She was ultra impressive winning last Thursday night at her first attempt over the Dapto 600m, clocking a fast 34.68 seconds from box one. Should lead this field early, from this good low draw, and be hard to run down. The Jodi Lord-trained Tiger Jack (box 7) looks the obvious danger. Not a quick beginner but does run home well and is suited over the middle distance. Has beaten at Dapto March 17 from box six, clocking a fast 34.60 seconds. Jodie Lord also has Powder Finger (box 6) entered in this race. Normally not a quick beginner and should get back in the field early from this tricky draw. Can run home into a place for exotic punters. The Chloe Bilal-trained Fully Roasted (box 3) was very slow to begin, severely checked with a lap to go, last start here from box four. Did finish third behind Miss Wanted the previous start at his first run over the Dapto 600m. Looks a minor place chance tonight.

Race 8: GRNSW Middle Distance Series 5th Grade (600m)

This is the other GRNSW middle distance series race. Not a strong middle distance race like race seven. The Mark Forner-trained Lucky Ethics (box 3) goes over the Dapto 600m for the first time tonight. This daughter of may be suited to this middle distance. Has fair early speed and could lead all the way here from her low draw tonight. Negative is that she has only won once in 19 career starts. Impress Bromell (box 7) can handle wide draws and ran second to Cawbourne Magic at Dapto February 17 over this distance. Looks the obvious danger tonight. Miss Frankie Rae (box 4) has been placed in both starts over this track and distance. Has a tricky middle draw tonight but must be included in all exotic betting. The Andrew Bell-trained It's A Moment (box 1) has the best box draw and did run a good second behind Ultra Impressive last Thursday night from box two when big odds. Might be good race to take a box trifecta.

Race 9: Commercial Painting Group Final 5th Grade (297m)

Back to the short course racing over the Dapto 297m, with the final from the four 5th grade heats run last Thursday night. The Patrick Daly-trained (box 1) will probably lead this final early but get run down. She can ping the lids, but generally gives other greyhounds the chance to rail inside her rounding the only turn over the Dapto short course. The Jacob White-trained Jagora Bale (box 2) could be this lucky greyhound from her good low draw tonight. The -trained Lightning Zeal (box 4) was a great run when on debut at Dapto last Thursday night, finishing an unlucky second behind Wicked Jewel from box two. All three career wins from the Peter Ray-trained Wicked Jewel (box 5) have been over this track and distance. Must be included in the winning chances. Baby driver (box 3) was a good heat winner when on debut at Dapto last Thursday night. Could be another with a winning chance. Good open 5th grade final with lots of winning chance.

Race 10: H.Parsons Funeral Directors Free For All (297m)

The Andrew bell-trained Sizzle Fly (box 5) looks the greyhound to beat in this race. This son of the great Fernando Bale can ping the lids and looks the early leader and winner. The Michael Clayton-trained Mint Condition could get the good run across outside Sizzle Fly early. The daughter of Fernando Bale, ran a personal best April 14, clocking a fast 17.01 seconds from box four. The Simon Rhodes-trained Nixon Bale (box 3) can never be left out of winning contention over this course and distance. Beat Wicked Fury last Thursday night from box six, clocking 17.12 seconds. The Allan Halovic-trained Super Overdrive (box 7) was severely checked when vying for the lead last Thursday night from box four. Has won six races from 13 attempts at this track and distance. The Peter Massa-trained Call Me Senorita (box 2) has a good low draw, must be a place chance tonight. Good free for all race!

Race 11: Watch Live On Sportsbet 4th/5th Grade (297m)

The Donna Campbell-trained (box 4) won his only start over this track and distance March 10, clocking a fast 17.09 seconds from box five. Can show early speed to offset this middle draw and be in a winning position in this race. The Garry Edwards-trained Marvin's Girl (box 2) was luckless at Nowra March 28 when resuming after a three month spell from box two. Was vying for the lead when checked on that occasion. Making her Dapto debut over the short course tonight but must be a winning chance. Donna Campbell also has Sure She Is (box 6) entered in this race. Ran a good third behind Wicked Jewel last Thursday night when making her Dapto debut from box four. Could improve from that outing and be in the winning mix from this tricky draw. The Gregory Hore-trained Perfect Skipper (box 7) can handle wide draws and could be a good place chance tonight.

Race 12: Sportsbet Same Race Multi 5th Grade (297m)

The Andrew Katalinic-trained Ebony Mamba (box 2) looks the greyhound to beat in the last race tonight. Can muster good early speed soon after the start and should take advantage of this good low draw tonight. Never finished further back than second in three career starts over this track and distance. The Rob Tyler-trained Minkara Minx (box 4) can show early speed and might get across outside Ebony Mamba early. This daughter of the great Fernando Bale has only won once from seven career starts. The Andrew Bell-trained Johanna Jewel (box 1) has been placed 10 times from 16 career starts when wearing the red rug. Does not win many races but looks a good place chance tonight. Ferocious Barbie (box 7) won her maiden race at Dapto February 17 from box three. Ran second at Wentworth Park from box seven at her last start, so could be placed again here. Always Archie (number 9) will be a good winning chance if he gains a start in this race.
