Margaret Keeping has been racing in great heart of late and with her early speed she should prove very hard to beat. Last time out she mustered speed at a rate of knots when posting a top 30.04 win here and a repeat of that run will see her finish in the top two. The most impressive part of her last start victory was that she was able to hold off the strong Lochinvar Akira after she settled very close to her.
Regal Looper has won nine of 29 tries here and he is an absolute beast when on-song. His box manners can let him down at times, but he does have a good turn of foot and he should be able to trail the two through as they head into the first bend. Blurred Lines is going to be well-fancied and he can obviously feature, however I think he is a big risk because he has the wide-running Red Can drawn directly underneath and he may be posted wide for most of the journey. Nebula is better than his form reads and he rounds out the chances, he should get plenty of cover early and if he settles near the speed he will be in the finish.
Top Four: 2 – 3 – 4 – 6
Suggested Bets: Win bet on Margaret Keeping

Optic Shimmer is making her metro debut and she comes here after scoring two devastating Gawler wins in recent weeks. The most recent of those wins was in a blinding 22.39 and, if she reproduces a similar run tonight, she should be at least five or six in front as they come off the back straight. Clearly the last 40 metres is going to be a concern, however, she did turn in a top 520 metre effort at Nowra back in October, so she should get the trip.
Banjo Blaze is poorly-drawn, but she appears to be the main danger based on her top 29.91 win here two runs back. With a slow beginner on her outside and a keen railer underneath, the draw isn't as bad as it looks, so if she comes out on terms she should put herself into contention as they head into the first bend. Dyna Rukia can show early speed in her races and she has been solidly placed in her past three starts here. The wide draw should suit and she has strong place claims in this. Keller Bale could be the value for the place, his form reads poor, but he is very strong in the run home and he does possess good track sense.
Top Four: 1 – 5 – 7 – 8

Victa Scott was a tad unlucky here last week and he is probably better suited to tonight's wider draw. He is normally a very reliable beginner and he does muster speed well. If he can step cleanly tonight he should be able to settle in the top three and he may prove too strong for some of his more-fancied rivals.
Kalden Legenda has won his past seven in great fashion, however, tonight his task is a little tougher and, at the short odds, he is definitely a risk. Last week he was able to find the lead and with a clear run he only managed to flop over the line, he will cop more pressure early tonight and we're expecting him to fold up. Dyna Erwin is perfectly-placed in the red draw and he should settle a lot closer to the speed than normal. He has broken 30 seconds here previously and he is very strong in the run home, he could be well over the odds tonight. Allen Hodney must be respected, he was narrowly beaten by Kalden Legenda last week and although he is better suited to a rails draw he proved last week that he is up to this class.
Top Four: 7 – 1 – 8 – 5
Suggested Bets: Win bet on Victa Scott and Dyna Erwin

Farmeroo was knocked over at a crucial stage here last week and from the red he should be able to make amends. He has won 17 races over this trip and he is dropping considerably in class, from the red he should be able to push through at the first bend and if he holds them out I can't see them reeling him in.
Allen Warlock made his SA debut at Strathalbyn last week and he recorded a devastating 31.31 win, if he can handle the track at his first look tonight he should be right in the mix. Hashtag Harry is as honest as they come and he should be in the mix for a long way, he has been racing well without winning of late and with a clean getaway I can see another top three finish. Spot Goes Racing rounds out the chances, he resumed from a spell with a top placing here last week and he shouldn't be too far away again.
Top Four: 1 – 6 – 5 – 8
Suggested Bets: Win bet on Farmeroo

Ash Flash is a terrible beginner, but from the corner start it might actually work in her favour. Last week she gave them a big head start and she was held up turning for home when running second to Freesia Bale. With a wide runner drawn in box one, I'm expecting her to get a saloon passage through as they head through the second corner and she will then prove too strong in the run home.
Freesia Bale was super impressive in her 35.39 win here last week and although she is drawn on the other side of the track tonight, she should still be able to be a factor. He's A Villian is returning to a more suitable journey tonight and he must be respected, he has won six of 21 over this trip and three starts back he recorded a breathtaking 29.73 victory here over 515m. If he can get across early he should be in the finish. Parsec Bale has the talent but she has a flat spot after 50m and she will move wide through the corner, so she is likely to find a lot of bother.
Top Four: 3 – 7 – 8 – 1
Suggested Bets: Win bet on Ash Flash

Coorong Kid hasn't had much luck in his most recent efforts, but he finds himself in a very winnable race tonight and with an ounce of luck in the first 50m he should be winning. Back in February and March he was absolutely flying over this trip and he reeled off numerous sub 29.80 wins. There is a bit of speed underneath tonight so that should allow him to find the rail and then drive through into a prominent spot at the first bend.
Sound Effort can be hard to follow but he is drawn to hold them out early and he can break 30 seconds when on the lure. He is likely to start each way odds and he could be worth a saver bet. Black Daddy has a big engine and he will be hitting the line strongly, the first 50m is crucial for him but there are a couple of runners who are suspect at the journey so that might play into his hands. Excusez Moi rounds out the hopes, she is well drawn out wide and she should get a nice cart across from the seven in the early stages.
Top Four: 4 – 1 – 5 – 8
Suggested Bets: Win bet on Coorong Kid

Great race and if the classy Kalden Gambino can get the start right he should be leading all the way. He has had three weeks off but prior to that he did post a blistering 29.66 win here and on that occasion he made a handy lineup look second rate. There is some speed around him but if he steps well his is capable of crossing them.
Alderley Reform has won 17 races over this track and trip and he is racing in great form. He should get plenty of cover from the four in the early stages and that should allow him to settle in the top three as they head for the back straight. Spicy Peppa makes her return to town and she could be some value, she is coming off a strong 416m Port Pirie win and that run would have sharpened her up for this assignment. Kalden Balerion must be considered as a serious contender also, he has a top record at this track and from this draw, the only concern with him is that there is quite a bit of speed drawn underneath him tonight.
Top Four: 5 – 3 – 6 – 8
Suggested Bets: Win bet on Kalden Gambino
Quinella: 5 to rove with 3,6,8 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 3,5,6/3,5,6,8 ($9 for 100%)

Another great race and it appears to be a race to the first bend as I think whoever finds the front will win. I'm giving the edge to the well drawn Warrior Of Oz, he isn't normally very strong, however last week in his heat he found the front mid race and he made the exciting Aussie Noorumba work overtime for victory. I think he can hold them out tonight and he should build up a race winning lead mid race.
Mrs Bubbles continues to impress and she is aiming for a hat trick of wins, two starts back she beat the classy Aston Kane on his merits and if she reproduces that type of run she will prove hard to hold out. Long Gully Stevie rounds out the speed division and he should be in the mix for a long way, my only concern with him is that he may be posted wide for most of the race due to the abundance of speed underneath. Lucy Fergo could be the value in the event, she is one of the few run on types in the event and if they shuffle up near the led she should be there to capitalise.
Top Four: 1 – 4 – 6 – 5
Suggested Bets: Win bet on Warrior Of Oz and Lucy Fergo

Open affair but if Victa Brooke can come out cleanly she should make her presence felt. In recent weeks she has been racing in top company and she has recorded three top placings. Tonight's race lacks early speed so she should get every chance to settle in a prominent spot as they head through the corner.
Oran Bale is the run on type in the event and she also races very well here, she does like to get wide through the corners so she will need some luck as they hit the first bend. Physical Road broke through for a well deserved win here last time in 30.27 and she should give a great sight near the lead. Velocity Tara is the only other winning prospect, she is very hit or miss early but she is capable of good things when she comes out.
Top Four: 2 – 8 – 4 – 6
Suggested Bets: Win bet on Victa Brooke
Quinella: 2 to rove with 4,6,8 ($3 for 100%)

Mcray has come up with the ideal draw and he is racing in stellar form. There is very little speed drawn on his outside so he should drive through at the first turn and that should be the end of the section. He will be short odds but he should be winning.
Lanny bale was a strong 30.10 winner here three runs back and if she gains a clear passage she will figure in the finish, she is better suited to an inside draw but her lack of early speed should allow her to drift across in the early stages. Blu Light Banjo has the early speed to match them for a long way, her past couple of runs haven't been great but she should run an improved race. Lektra Ripper is a must for your exotic bets, he will get back early but he does hit the line well and he could be a good anchor for third and fourth in your exotic bets.
Top Four: 1 – 8 – 2 – 5
Suggested Bets: Win bet on Mcray
Quinella: 1 to rove with 2,5,8 ($3 for 100%)

Ballantime is making his metro debut in SA and based on his two Gawler wins in recent weeks he does look ready to make a big impact. He lacks a bit of early speed but this race features quite a few runners who like to lead and that might allow him to get a perfect sit behind them. There is the small query about him running the trip right out but I think he will get it quite easily.
Dyna Priscilla is drawn to hold them out and she should run a cheeky race, she hasn't had much luck in recent weeks and with the two expected to give her cover early she should be able to regain some confidence. Zipping Fee Fee was solidly placed here last week and she shouldn't be too far away again as she has been placed in her only three tries here.
Top Four: 7 – 1 – 4 – 8
Suggested Bets: Win bet on Ballantime
Quinella: 7 to rove with 1,4,8 ($3 for 100%)
