Leg 1 – Sandown Park – Race 1: Memphis Jookin' To Place $1.91
His most recent form isn't too flashy, however he has been taking on some more than handy chasers and he appears drawn to get the run of the race tonight. The red is a short course speedster which I am expecting to lead through the first corner. If Memphis can step on terms he should be able to drive through at the first turn and settle in second spot. He should be strong enough in the run home and I can't see him missing the top three. He is currently $6 to win which is great odds but for the multi I think the place option is safer.
Leg 2 – Sandown Park – Race 6: Ballerino To Win $2.60
He is perfectly drawn in the red and with a clean getaway he should be able to hold them out early and then boot away mid race. The final 30m may be a slight concern, however his littermates have excelled over this distance range in recent months and the manner in which he hits the line over 515m suggests that he shouldn't have too many problems. He meets a smart chaser in Yadi, however he has a wide runner drawn directly underneath so he should be posted wide for most of the journey.
Leg 3 – Dapto – Race 3: Bank Street To Place $1.50
Bank Street doesn't win too often but he has been placed in 17 of his 20 career starts. He is going to drop out early and he will be giving away a fairly big head start, however at Dapto they always seem to scrimmage through the first corner and that should allow him to rail through and make up some ground. There are quite a few weak runners in this event so he should be able to charge home into some minor money.
