Leg 1 – Angle Park – Race 4 – Emerley Senorita to win $2.75
Emerley Senorita has been racing in much stronger company of late and with the smaller field she should be given a clear passage in the early stages.
She is generally a very good at box rise and she can muster speed at a great rate. There is some speed on her outside but Alhanna will stay wide through the corner and therefore her run should not be impeded.
Four starts back she posted a sizzling 29.73 victory over this track and trip and if she can reproduce that type of effort she will take some catching.
She is currently around the $2.75 mark with Bet365 and that looks a solid bet.
Leg 2 – Shepparton – Race 4 – Lakerville to win $1.60
Lakerville has been quite costly since coming across to the mainland but this highly talented chaser looks well placed tonight and he should be winning quite easily.
In recent weeks he has been taking on some gun chasers and he hasn't received much luck in running, tonight's event doesn't feature a lot of early dash, so with a clean getaway he should be able to carve across early and settle in the top two or three.
He is quite strong in the run home and, although short at the $1.60 quote, he really does look the goods.
Leg 3 – Nowra – Race 5 – My Boy Brodie to Place $1.83 (top 2 finish as only 6 runners)
My Boy Brodie turned in a monster effort to score at Wentworth Park last time in 30.18 and he should be better suited to this journey.
There are a couple of handy ones in this event but the smaller field is a big advantage for him and with an ounce of luck I can't see him missing a top two finish.
He is currently $1.83 fixed and that is big over's.
