WITH another excellent weekend of greyhound racing about to commence, Australian Racing Greyhound’s expert tipster Brad Bugeja has studied the form around the country to bring you the best bets for Friday April 24, 2015.
Race 6: Nicki Fields with William Hill
Nicki Fields has been taking on open company over the staying journey in recent weeks and she has turned in some great performances. From the red draw today she should be able to settle in the top three early and I would expect her to be too strong in the run home. She can miss the kick at times but she does have a wide runner drawn on her outside so she should get plenty of cover in the first 50-metres or so.
Race 9: High Sierra with William Hill
Her recent form doesn’t look too flashy but she is blessed with a lot of talent and if she happens to step away today she may just blaze across and get the cash at nice odds. There isn’t a lot of speed drawn around her so should get every chance to put herself into contention at the first bend.
Race 6: Winsome Jacko with William Hill
He can be very hard to follow at times and he has been quite costly to date but he is dropping considerably in class tonight and with a clear passage in the first 30 or 40-metres he should be able to hit the scoreboard. He is likely to start around $6 or a tad better with William Hill and that is big over’s for a chaser that has a blistering 29.61 PB.
Race 7: 4 to rove with 3 & 7
Caustic Bale is a superstar talent when on song and with an empty draw on his outside and a keen railer on his inside, he should be afforded a clear run early and he should be winning.
Crackerjack Dak is likely to set the pace and he should hold on for a top three finish, whilst Size Does Matter has a massive engine and if he gets into the clear mid race he could charge home into the quinella spot.
