All the early pace in the race looks to be drawn toward the rail in boxes one (Thylacine), two and three (Jams Bolt). Of those three greyhounds I'm A Psycho has the pace to lead, but is also the strongest in the run home; so we can either jump on the bunny and win or potentially run down whoever leads us to the winning post the first time. I'm A Psycho's last win was here at this track and distance from box three back in June 2022 when paying $38.00 starting price (SP), so don't be dissuaded by the long odds on offer today.

Online greyhound betting sites are offering $3.90 about Magic Spry tonight while we have priced his chances at $2.32. In what looks a very even race on paper, Magic Spry is dropping in grade and looks to be able to use the box one advantage to its full potential with the only other early pace in the race drawn out in boxes three, four, seven and eight. Although coming back in distance from 450m to 350m, Magic Spry has had two starts at the Grafton 350m for one win so certainly has the ability to be highly competitive over the shorter journey. With a last start failure next to his name, we'll probably get much better than $3.90 later in betting so we can afford to spread the risk each way.

The Rob Camilleri-trained Chop Scotch will be lining up at Sale tonight for career start 76 and bookies have quoted him $3.90 to win this 440m race. Our ratings have him priced at $2.94 so there is enough value on offer to get involved. The Camilleri kennel have five other greyhounds engaged in earlier races tonight at Sale with more than winning hopes, so don't expect Chop Scotch's price to drift out much especially if they win any of the earlier races. Chop Scotch was a very good second here last week and with the favourite Garret (2) having to contend with the box pace of Dr. Seko (4) early, Chop Scotch could easily sweep around the outside and control the race.
