Ritza Rossie is an exciting prospect and if he reproduces the effort which saw him win here in a sizzling 29.81 he will take a power of beating. There doesn't appear to be a lot of speed drawn around him, so with a clean getaway he should be able to roll to the early lead and I can't see anything getting near him.

Race 9: Black And Pretty
She is rising in class tonight but she is perfectly placed in the wide draw and she can show sizzling early speed once she hits the ground. Three starts back she blew her rivals away when scoring here over 400-metres in a sizzling 22.41 and a similar effort tonight will see her lead for a long way. At the $6 mark with William Hill she appears to be a great each way investment.

Race 8: Opus Bale
He has only had the two runs in SA but one of those runs was a strong placing over this track and trip and on that occasion he really caught the eye. I'm expecting him to settle mid field and if he can gain a clear passage he should be able to run over the top in the closing stages. He should be double figure odds and he is worth an each way ticket.

Race 10: 1 to rove with 2,4,7 ($3 for 100%)
Able Chief is better than his form reads and from the favourable draw he should run a forward race at nice odds. Tat Molly is drawn to get the run of the race and she shouldn't be too far away, whilst Fleet Return has the class edge and with some luck early he should make his presence felt. Flying Opal can be hard to follow but if she pings away she could add some value to the quinella dividend.
