Leg 1 – Bendigo – Race 7: Mander Lark To Place $1.62
Mander Lark can be a little hard to follow and he does have some lapses of concentration in his races, but in recent weeks he has been flying and he looks suited in this company. Last time out he showed good early speed and he was beaten by around three lengths in blistering time here, if he can reproduce a similar effort tonight, he should be able to roll to the early lead and a top three finish is on the cards.
Leg 2 – Bendigo – Race 10: She's Vivacious To Place $1.91
She's Vivacious hasn't won for a little while but she is ideally drawn out wide and she should appreciate the drop in class. She is normally fair to begin but she does muster speed very quickly and from out wide she should be afforded a clear passage in the initial stages. This race lacks depth, so it might be worthwhile backing her for the win separately as she does appear to be over the odds.
Leg 3 – Bulli – Race 5: Jenmar Blue To place $1.80
Jenmar Blue is well placed in the red draw and he returned to form with a strong 22.85 win here over the 400m journey last time out. I dont expect him to lead but he does have a good turn of foot and with a clean getaway he should be able to drive through into a top three spot in the initial stages. He meets a couple of handy ones in this event but I think he is just as talented as any other runner and he looks a safe prospect for the all up.
