Greyhound Tips for Saturday 10th August 2013

No luck last night, 3 selections 3 losers, ut that's the nature of this game, and  nights is always hard.

Huge night again tonight with the Sprint and Distance Championships in Victoria, NSW and WA. There all wide open affairs and it'll be tough to the find the winners.

Greyhounds, Race 8 Box 1 Midnight News, 9.57pm

Wouldn't it be nice to own a super handy stayer around this time. It appears as if the strength of the current top line stayers isn't as strong as it has been in past years. Midnight News looms as a huge chance here tonight to take out the NSW leg, but she's yet to have won one here at headquarters. She has run 3 placings, but tonight does look her best chance. She's strong and extremely capable with the right run. Box 1 will suit and she should get the perfect sit here on the early leader, Proven Stellar. The bookend runners look the two and this race should come right down to the wire. Both bitches are going great, and it will be a test of strengths as they turn for the judge the final time. Midnight News is the stronger of the two, and I think she'll go home just that tad bit better here tonight. Make sure you jump in early and take the fixed odds offered by one of our many sponsors. IasBet, , Sportingbet and .

Greyhounds Race 4 Box 5 Major League 8.19pm

I reckon this fellow is a moral. He's been racing extremely well and is perfectly suited to the small field he strikes in a heat of the Distance Championship. The old champ can never be written off, but she does rely on flying the lids and the field finding trouble. I doubt weather Major League will get held up enough here to get beat. He's been finishing off powerfully of late and should land right in behind the early speed, as they round the home turn expect him to explode right away to win the race. He's won here twice in good time, and he's unbeatable here tonight. Will win!

Greyhounds Race 3 Box 1 Magpie Bob 7.50pm WA time.

The W.A leg of the Distance championship, and Magpie Bob can pinch this. He's electric early and should burn straight to the front and clear out here early on. He's been unlucky the last few, when run down each time. However I do think its his time for a little luck. After looking over the field countless times, I get the feeling they may jam up here a little and allow Bob to skip away. He's had enough runs over the trip now to be rock hard and with a bit of added luck and improved strength, he should just hold on here. Pedro's Finest and Sassy Bullet appear the dangers, but have to contend with tough boxes. Stick with Bob, it's his time.

Best of luck
