Albion Park Greyhounds Race 5 Box 8 Big Bad Brad 8.06pm
Brad has been knocking on the door to win one for a while now and a few starts ago he flew the lids and put in a sub 5.70 first section. So, we know he has the early toe here to lead if he pings. Drawing out wide in box 8 will allow him plenty of room to move. It's an ordinary field and one in which they shouldn't break 30.50, and with his best jump he should get down around 30.40 mark. His record here though is only fair with12 starts for 5 placings so it does appear as if he's a serial place getter. But, he's found his race and he looks the on top selection for mine. Punters should be able to achieve odds of around $5.00 and anything less is too short. Great way to start the quaddie.
Angle Park Greyhounds Race 11 Box 2 Avatar Kiss 9.58pm
It's the last race, I know, but I really like the race this girl has found, and I like her to get the job done. She'll be one of the last out in this, but that won't worry her being drawn in box 2. She should hunt straight up along the rail early on and look to take over mid-way through. Her last-start placing was far better that it looked and she seems to be really finding her feet again. She has a PB of 30.26 but I do think she is primed to lower that here tonight. Box 1 runner Classic Ice is a little one paced, and Box 3 runner Flying Charles doesn't seem to want to do it. Flying Charles is the main danger but Avatar Kiss should represent the better value, and is bursting to win another one. Stick with her and take the tote odds available.
Launceston Greyhounds Race 8 Box 2 Winklee Tam 10.03pm
The Ted Howard-trained Tam looks the on top selection here for mine in this. This girl has shown she has a motor with her solid 25.74 win at Devonport recently. She has had the one go here for one win in 30.71 and there's no doubt she's improved, and can go much faster than that. She should lead these up here or at worst land second or third and once in a position to win this race she will do just that. She's by Surgeon and she's shown she has good strength on her side. Magical Witch looks the main danger and she should spring out alongside Tam in this. But, even if she does lead our pick, I still fancy Winklee Tam to get the better of her. Big chance.
Wentworth Park Greyhounds Race 2 Box 1 Grin To Win 7:36pm
It's about time this bloke wins another one and this will be the one he wins here tonight. With the speed to lead and the lack of opposition, he has zero excuses here and should lead and give them a hiding. He's been going great guns around Gosford and although he's yet to have a start around here, he should be far too good for these. Anchor him in your multiples with 3,6,8.
Shepparton Greyhounds Race 4 Box 2 Swift Design 8.10pm
This daughter of El Galo has only won the 4 races, but I get the feeling this may be win number 5 at fair odds. She was going to win last start before being pushed wide. She won't lead here from box rise, but should push through by the time they swing into the first turn. She's in solid form and has been racing well here at Shepparton and Wagga. She's certainly knows how to run a place, being in the money 33% of the time. So back her each-way and, if she gets beat, she's still sure to run a place.
