Greyhound Betting Tips For Sunday 29 September 2013
Punters are stuck with me today as our regular tipster is feeling a little under the weather. I will try my best to steer you all in the right direction.
Gawler Greyhounds Race 7 Box 4 Double Bubble 7:41pm
Warren has told me that he believes Double Bubble will be the value runner here in the seventh event. The son of Trewly Special has found trouble around Angle Park at his two most recent runs and will just need a little bit of luck in running to recapture some of his form tonight at Gawler. He is not an overly quick beginner so box four is not ideal but he does have good pace once he hits the ground. He is also blessed with a big finishing kick so if he is close to the front heading out of the first turn, he could go close to the money. His main threats look to be Stonebridge (box six) and Celtic Boom (box one). Both are reliable beginners and should be right in the race from the get-go. However, if you are looking for an each-way bet, Double Bubble may catch a few by surprise at handy odds.
Albion Park Greyhounds Race 7 Box 2 Flick Pass 7:46pm
The Ron Ball-trained Flick Pass looks to be an exciting youngster on his way up. The son of Surf Lorian was an emphatic winner last start over the track and distance where he recorded an all the way 30.12s victory. While this is a quality field, he seems well drawn in box two and should have enough early speed to ping the lids and hold the lead in the run to the first turn. From there they will have to run him down and with his main threats mainly drawn in the centre or out wide that gives him a distinct advantage.
Sale Greyhounds Race 8 Box 3 Zambora Blueboy 7:56pm
This event sees the return of the freakish Black Magic Opal and he should win but he won't represent any value. Zambora Blueboy returns to racing after tasting success in the Waterloo Cup (coursing) for the second year in a row. The son of Cosmic Rumble has a stack of talent and will just need to begin safely to be able to muster enough speed and feature in the finish. I don't think he can beat Black Magic Opal but he might be a good place bet or even one to throw into your multiples with his high-profile competitor.
Best Of Luck
