Greyhound Betting Tips For Tuesday 13th August 2013

We had another Great night last night with 3 winners from 4 selections. Ikari Pedro won well at paying $5.10. Tiny Turner lead from start to finish at and paid $2.80; and last of all She's All Class saluted at odds of $1.80 and booked her birth in the final.

Ipswich Greyhounds, Race 8 Box 3 Yogi Blue, 6.15pm

I'm at a complete loss, trying to figure out how on earth Peter O'Reilly got Yogi Blue to run a mind blowing 30.28 at . It was only last week I was chatting with the dogs owner George Zammit, about Yogi. We were discussing how it was great for George to have handy dog racing in Yogi Blue. Peter has just taken over the training of Yogi, and has improved the dog from a PB of 30.74 to a scorching 30.28! He's always been super quick early but generally walks to the line. Some how Peter got him to break 12.00 in the run home something he's never done. So In conclusion I think George may have much more then a handy dog on his hands. In today's heat of the , all Yogi had to do is put in a similar run and he'll gap the others. He'll have plenty of room early and with a repeat he's unbeatable!

Lismore Greyhounds Race 5 Box 4 Junior Phantom 8.05pm

Junior Phantom is likely to start second or 3rd favourite here in this. Box 1 runner Noir Lee, will ultimately be heavily supported on the strength of box 1 and his last couple of starts, but I do feel the tough 635 here at will find him out. Junior Phantom scorched around here last start in a great 37.50 and there's no reason why he can't do the sane again. He has a great record over the track and distance, and loves Lismore but he does need a clear uninterrupted run throughout. He has slow beginners drawn around him in boxes 2,3,6, and this should allow him to take up a forward position early on. He should land just in behind the early leaders and will look to take up the less mid way. If he begins and lands in a forward position he'll be mighty hard to hold out.

Gosford Greyhounds, Race 6 Box 3 Blow The Doh, 8.39pm

I'm going to take a risk here and select Blow The Doh, early on in here career she looked very promising winning nicely at but she's really struggled lately. She steps up to the 600m trip here and if breeding is anything to go by, she should handle it with ease. She can begin and if she's able to get forward from the start she'll prove hard to catch. There is no doubt she can run time, the question is can stepping up to the 600 bring the best out in her. She'll be big odds so a small eachway bet would be the go here.

Warragul Greyhounds, Race 4 Box 1 Dashing Man, 7.50pm

The ex Qld Dashing Man has a huge motor with clear running. Box 1 is ideal and he'll power home here in this. He run a solid 30.35 at , two starts back and was superb in doing so. He's more than capable of beating these here if he gets forward early and the outside division jam up little. His trainer Brook Ennis has a good record with her dogs, and she's building a solid one with this fellow. Boxes 2,6,8 are all chances with there fair share of luck. It's a very tough race and I suggest if your backing Dashing Man you make sure you get a minimum of 3-1 about the son of . Eachway.

Best of Luck
