Greyhound Betting Tips Monday 13th January
Albion Park Greyhounds Race 10 Box 1 Vanaheim, 9.45pm
Pretty ordinary 5th Grade race here and it appears as if Vanaheim will be the one to beat. She does go well when drawn against average opposition and when she can get to the front from the get go. She's likely to find herself on the rail early and she's able to run a first section that will set her up to win the race. She races well here and enjoys the inside box. Her PB is fast enough to win this and I expect her to go very close.
The only apparent danger is Hara's Dereck, and he can show plenty of early toe, but does struggle in the run to the line.
These two dogs appear the main two.
Angle Park Greyhounds Race 1 Box 3 Nicholas Jack 6.36pm
This fellow is back in SA after tackling the best in Tassie recently. He goes well here and showed signs of improvement in his last start third. In his last two starts he's improved his finishing time and he looks set to score here tonight. He's got good early toe and can find the front if he steps away. They're not going to go overly quick in this, so he gets more then enough of a chance to win.
Emerley Lover is back for trainer Troy Murray, and at his best he'd towel this lot right up. But he hasn't been racing all that well lately and will need to get out and find clear room early. But he looks a great chance as well and he can't be overlooked here.
It may pay to take the quinella with both Jack and Emerley lover.
Launceston Greyhound Race 3 Box 7 Nooee's Lad, 7.21pm
Australia's best box dog in my opinion is this 31kg rocket Nooee's Lad. At times it appears as if he finds a way under the lids before they open. He's a versatile chaser and is able to win from 278 to 520. He's back tonight from a three month spell and is engaged to run in this very tough 278m race. Their is some absolute jets engaged in this race, so no mistakes can be made, but he should explode from the boxes tonight being so fresh. He's suited out wide and with so many talented runners engaged, he should start at a healthy price.
If $4.00 or more can be achieved I suggest having a go.
Shepparton Greyhounds Race 7 Box 1 Fourier Bale, 9.08pm
This girl has raced to identical fast wins at Sale recently and looks well suited by the one turn start. She's quite strong and appears to have plenty of talent at this young age. Forget her last start here at Shep, where she was unsuited by the tough box 7 draw. She'll find it far far easier from the red here tonight, and although she won't lead, she will get the chance to sneak up along the rails. She's run just as quick as the likely favourite here, so from the rails draw she looks a great chance.
$5.00 is about her starting price and she's worth a crack at tonight.
