Greyhound Betting Tips Saturday 29th March
We had a great day yesterday, with Spring Court saluting at Ipswuch paying $3.40 and Wilma Bale getting up to win at $8.40, beating our second pick Sweet it is. Punters who took Wilma Bale and the exacta were duly rewarded.
Tonight looks much harder, but I'll do my best to try keep that winning feeling flowing. With selections at The Meadows, Wentworth Park and Cannington.
The Meadows Greyhounds Race 6 Box 1 Fort Allen 8.57pm
Fort Allen looks the winner here tonight from the perfect box one draw. He was unlucky last week when run down by Mepunga Melachi from box two when he flew away in a fast 5.04 first section. He should go just as good tonight from box one and expect him to have no trouble leading. He posted a PB here last start of 29.94 and a repeat will see him win tonight. He's got a great record from box one and while there is a few that can run him down, he'll probably have a few lengths break.
Nobby Bale looks a huge threat and expect him to be hitting the line really hard. Tyronimo also gets his chance, but may need to begin better and stay in touch early. There won't be a huge price on offer for Fort Allen, but at nearly 2-1 he looks a really solid bet with all factors in his favour.
Nobby Bale can certainly fill a place or win with luck, so keep him safe and maybe back him for a place.
Wentworth Park Greyhounds Race 8 Box 3 Born Ali 9.50pm
The feature race of the night is the $25,000 to the winner Gold Cup at Wentworth Park. I'm going to go with Born Ali, who will be off and running early and will make her own luck. She's a fast front running type as most know and can run out the 700 on the bunny. She does have require a little but of luck to win tonight and she will need Lucy Wires and Dyna Willow to jam up a bit. Lucy Wires has drawn well and has a booming finish, so with a clear run she can run over the top them.
Cawbourne Clooney could be the knockout dog, she's a fast bitch but doesent really go until she finds the rails. With slow beginner Lucy Wires boxed on her inside Clooney should be able to find the rail really early on. So punters should keep her very safe.
If $5.00 or more is available for Born Ali fixed at the corporate bookmakers, then I suggest jumping on as she makes her own luck. A solid place bet could be Cawbourne Clooney from the suitable box and she could represent good place value.
Cannington Greyhounds Race 7 Box 1 Ash Flash 11.57pm
I doubt we will see many big priced winners here at Cannington tonight. It looks a card where most races will be dominated by the favourites. Ash Flash was beaten last start but will be primed and a better suited back here at Cannington tonight. There's no doubting her ability and she has hit her straps since coming across from Victoria. Box one is perfect and expect her to trail in behind star chaser Magpie Bob.
He's probably a few runs short of peak fitness, so expect him to get tired in the run to the line. He should spear out and make the early pace for Ash Flash. As long as Ash can find the rail and hold a forward position I expect her to finish far too hard for these here tonight. Great bet well boxed and no excuse here tonight.
