Albion Park Greyhounds Race 10 Box 8 Fusaichi Kahn 9.54pm
While there is a few good ones going around tonight, Fusaichi Kahn may be over the odds in this. He takes on the talented Jungle Junction and all the money will come for her. Box eight suits the son of Where’s Pedro and he should be burning from the outset. He is yet to miss a place here at Albion Park and has a PB of 30.11 for the 520m trip. He should have the early speed to head these off and take up the early lead and once in front he should have to much mid race pace and should be able to put up three or so lengths on the field. Jungle Junction on the other hand will have to do it tougher from the back and will need to gain clear running from the moment the boxes fly open. Zamelik for trainer Tom Noble looks to have talent based on his 29.72 win at Rockhampton two starts back. He will relish the inside draw and should be kept very safe in this.
Fusaichi Kahn has early speed and is proven and well drawn. Great bet.
Angle Park Greyhounds Race 4 Box Emerley lover 8.15pm
Emerley Lover from box one should be a great bet from the red box here tonight. He has tremendous speed over 500 meters, which was evident in his 30.36 win at Gawler. He can burn out here tonight and give them something to catch. He has only had the one try over the trip, for a PB of 35.58, but he should be able to lower that mark quite significantly here tonight.
Troy Murray does well with his dogs and only Fair Change and Pedro’s first look capable of running him down on recent form. Flying machine Abdon Bale is having his second run back from a spell and his record is superb over the 600m journey. He could be the knockout dog if he finds his brilliant old form. It’s a tough race with a few winning chances, so don’t be to quick to jump in and take the fixed odds on offer.
Emerley Lover should be worth backing, and should start at odds of $6.00
Dapto Greyhounds Race 3 Box 2 Madam Nikita, 8.12pm
This girl was heavily backed last start and really failed to fire. She was beaten by her litter mate and she looked quite flat in running. She hails from a punting kennel, so keep an eye on the tote. She has run a fast 22.62 over the short at Richmond, so she can definitely gallop. If she can ping and land on the bunny, she should be winning. She looks capable of running quick time and it wouldn’t surprise me if she run low 30.00s.
Miss Pocano looks the main danger after her solid 30.18 win here last start. She will however have to improve her first section and cross the majority of the field early to be a winning chance.
Boxes win races and Madam Nikita has the right box to be winning this. Eachway with caution.
Hobart Greyhounds Race 8 Box 1 Trex Tiger 10.08pm
This fellow originally hails from Queensland and has a bit more talent then his exposed form suggests. He has stopped the clock in a solid 26.36 here, but is no doubt capable of quicker if he can jump and find the bunny from the get go. In his last two starts he’s had boxes four and eight, so that has made his task of gaining clear running early quite difficult. From box one tonight he should gain the clear running that he needs to show his best. Big chance from the red and looks the one.
Box three runner Rear Window will be the main danger, he’s in form and has been running consistent times of late. Punters looking for value could try taking the exotics. With Trex Tiger and Rear Window for first and second.
Sandown Greyhounds Race 4 Box 1 Boris Sent Me. 8.08pm
Boris Sent Me looks the one here in this. He’s drawn the red and will get every chance too bring up win number eight here. He won’t be the best to begin, but he will be up in the leading division early, and once within striking distance he should be too good mid race for these. He was great in winning last week and I see no reason why he cant continue.
The interesting runner is Rocky Bale from box six, who is having his first go over the staying trip. He’s bred to run the distance, so only time will tell if he can make the step up to the gruelling trip.
