Ipswich Greyhounds Race 8 Box 7 Viridian 5.08pm

520 meter event here and the ever consistent and hard chasing Viridian gets the nod here in this. She raced on Saturday night over the 431m trip, and jumped as the odds on favourite. She was slow to begin and was never in the hunt after that.
She's a super hard chaser and I doubt you'd find a harder chasing greyhound in Australia. She's come up with box seven here, but shouldn't have any problem getting across the inside dogs.

She will however have to race up outside box one runner Got No Cents, and box two runner Im Ziva, early on. All three dogs are winning chances, but a lot will depend on who gets around corner first and on the bunny. Viridian has the best PB of the three runners with a PB of 30.68, and if she is to win this here today, she will need to go close to that.

Box one runner Got No Cents, is the weakest of the three, so unless she skips right away early, I doubt she can hold off the others.

Viridian should be the value runner, and I wouldn't be surprised to see her start at odds of around $6.00 in this.

Punters looking to take a trifecta, could box up runners 1,2,6,7 at a cost of $24.00 for 100%

Gawler Greyhounds Race 11 Box 3 Lochinvar Impala 3.47pm

This fellow got the job done at last start, but was quite disappointing even in winning. He did run a fast 30.06, but I thought he was entitled to go quicker then he did. Hopefully he finds more to his liking and salutes here. He's a fast dog when on song and he hasn't really hit his straps I feel since coming across from NSW. Box three here today is perfect with two slow beginners on his inside, so he should have no trouble finding the top by the first corner. Once in front, he will get the chance to show his mid race burn, and should be able to put a gap in these quite quickly.
Based on his Nsw form he looks capable of running around the 30.70 mark and that will win this by panels.

Box one runner Bubba Ray Dudley put in brilliant run last start from box six and he could be a real danger should Lochinvar Impala not find the top early. Dudley was only fair to begin last start, but mustered awesome mid race pace to sneak up the inside, and was narrowly beaten in fair time. He's been out of form for quite some time and at one stage was up for , but the son of Falcon can gallop and a win wouldn't surprise based on last weeks effort.

These pair look the main two, so maybe a few exotics are the way to go here in this.

Lismore Greyhounds Race 5 Box 4 Glenzinnis Clan 8.05pm

Rewind twelve months ago and this fellow was a hot young prospect who looked to be well on his way to great success. He ran 30.03 as a young dog at and if I remember correctly he was the favourite for a at Albion Park. Soon after though injury struck and he hasn't come back the same dog since. He is still capable of winning though, and he's been around the mark of late without winning. His overall record here at is solid, although he is yet to run fast time here.

Most of the field engaged in this are getting on a bit and this looks the race for him to find the winners circle again. Box four doesn't make it easy, but he should find himself just in behind the leading division early on, and only needs a slice of luck to race up the inside and take over mid race. If he finds the bunny early on, he should still be capable of running 30.20 here, and that's good enough to win this.

Box one runner Ben's House is the class runner, and he generally does most of his racing at Albion Park. He's become very stale of late, but cant be discounted from box one. If he finds the top without any early trouble, he will be mighty hard to run down.

The only other chance is given to box six runner Queen Emma Cloud, who can win if she gets across the field from the get go.

These 3 runners look the main trio, with Glenzinnis Clan the best value.

Warragul Greyhounds Race 5 Box 2 Allen Orville, 8.08pm

This dog went real well last start when running second to the super talented Magic Diva. He was quickly into stride and raced in the leading division for the entire race. Magic Diva didn't begin all that well and had to muster to weave here way to the front.

This is no easy race, but I feel a win isn't far away for this fellow and I'm going to continue to follow him. Box two is nice and he should trail the early leaders. If he does manage to stay within striking distance, then look for him to be coming hard at the finish.

Box one runner Nelly Allen has drawn perfectly and she looks the hardest to beat.
