Greyhound Betting Tips Tuesday 29th April
Last night was another productive night with three winners from four selections. Symmetry Lad won easily at Shepparton at $4.20, Rumble Comet got the bob in at Albion Park at $2.80 and little Kawasaki Rose killed them at Launceston at $4.40. Kalden Kapone was unplaced and quite disappointing at Angle Park.
Ipswich Greyhounds Race 7 Box 4 Jungle Junction, 5.52pm
Very tough race and many hopes. I'm going to go with Jungle Junction who was second here last week when beaten by the well backed All You Can. She was too strong for Jungle Junction but was greatly aided by box eight. All You Can has drawn the red box today and won't be suited, so she shouldn't pose a threat to Jungle Junction in today's race. Jungle Junction should fly away from the middle and look to lead early on. She goes really well here and won the recent $40,000 Vince Curry Memorial. She has a best time of 30.46 and with a clear run should go close to that again.
New Gleam and Sneaky Little Me will both be chances. New Gleam is a talented runner and fast beginner but has been racing out of form lately. He should spear the lids and this should give Jungle Junction a clear trouble free run.
As long as $4.00 or more is available jump aboard. Punters could also box up the trifecta of runners 1,3,4,7.
Lismore Greyhounds Race 8 Box 1 My Illusion 9.05pm
630 metre race here at Lismore and their is only a couple of winning chances, with boxes 1,6,8 standing out from the rest. My Illusion is my on top selection and should be a huge threat if he steps. The former Mount Gambier dog and littermate to Punch One Out has been raced all around the country, having raced in South Australia, Victoria with Darren McDonald, Queensland and now New South Wales.
Box one isn't ideal for him but at times he can jump quickly and without a great deal of pace on his outside he should tonight. He's pretty strong and has no trouble with the trip. The danger is the very strong Mr. Corsair, but he may get posted wide early and might find a bit too much traffic.
Mandurah Greyhounds Race 4 Box 4 Gingin Chick, 8.59pm
Tough little race but now Gingin Chick has finally broke her maiden she should go on with it. She broke the 23.00 second barrier last start when winning from box eight. She'll have to improve her box manners but she's capable of doing so with slow beginners around her. She's only young, but she has a motor and could be upwards of $8.00 here tonight, eachway chance.
The main danger is the talented What's Running, who's been around having had 112 starts for 14 wins. He's overdue for a win and now he's down in grade he'll be tough to hold out.
Best of luck
