Greyhound racing best bets – Saturday November 4, 2017
Wentworth Park R7 No.1 Bekin Street: Was a bit disappointing in his semi-final last week, but was drawn poorly and was chasing some very smart greyhounds. Returns to box one tonight which is ideal and I can see him positioning up well along the fence around the first turn. He has a breathtaking second section so if he is within a length or two of the leader down the back he will be hard to hold out.
Bulli R6 No.5 Big Butters: Classy bitch which has been racing extremely well in recent months. Far from disgraced last start when placed third in a heat of the Group 1 Hume Cup at The Meadows behind fastest qualifier Brueghelino. Box five doesn't help, but she has a good mix of speed and strength and this is a definite drop in class for her. She'll be short odds, but a good dog to chuck into a multi.
Cannington R3 No.3 Quick Jagger: Has had three starts back from a spell and showed he was back to his best with a sizzling 29.73 effort two starts back. Can be hit and miss out of the boxes, but he has an enormous engine and this is a considerable drop in class on his most recent starts.
