Greyhound racing best bets and top odds for Tuesday October 10

Greyhound Tips

WE have a pretty good day of racing ahead of us today featuring some hot young greyhounds later tonight that are worth tuning in for even if you haven't had a bet.

To help you back a couple of winners we have scouted around the country looking at the various meetings to find some top picks to have a bet on.

Gawler race six – number 3 Baa Man – 1.46pm

This fella steps up to the 531 after a scorching 22.11 win at last week. May be paddling in the closing stages but if he can begin well and pinch a break they should find it hard to run him down. Boxed well in the three and is a winner in 31.44 here. Probably needs to go a bit better than that today but looks like he is hitting his straps so I'm happy to stick with him.

Horsham race nine – number one Bronelly Jet – 6.15pm

Lightly raced youngster which looks the class runner of this field. He is well drawn in box one, although he will need to begin well otherwise he risks getting crowded. Debuts at the track but he has shown a fair bit of ability throughout his limited career and is in a leading kennel so is sure to be prepared nicely for this race.

Gosford race five – number two Lochinvar Sheike – 8.20pm

She probably wont be much of a price but Lochinvar Sheike looks the clear winner here. Led virtually all the way off an identical draw last week and was far too good for her rivals off a limited prep in 42.16. Keysta (1) could lead our selection but she isn't overly strong over the 700 and the other heat winner Rockstar Roy (7) went nearly eight tenths slower than our top pick when winning in 44.94.

Warragul race 10 – number one Neo Cleo – 9.44pm

I have a massive opinion of this bitch and she was far from disgraced last start when second in a $7,000 final at behind the exciting . Returns to where she won her first three starts and gets an inside draw for the first time in her career. She can be a bit hit and miss at box rise but if she can punch up along the fence she will be finishing strongly and looks capable of breaking the 26 second barrier.

If you want to have a bet on some other races at Warragul, are offering top odds for their expert pick in each race.
