If you are having a punt, good luck!

Richmond R4 No.1

She has probably been a bit disappointing at her most recent starts, but they have been from wide and middle boxes which don't help when you are a slow beginner. From box one she gets the chance to hold her spot and if she can punch up towards the lead she will be hard to beat. Obvious danger is the eight but would have preferred to see him drawn closer to the fence. Our pick can run 30.50 around here and that should be good enough to win.

Traralgon R6 No.4

Has had four runs back from a spell now so should be nearing peak fitness. Box four is no help, but she has been showing good early speed at her most recent starts and if she can lob first or second through the first turn she will make her presence felt. Not too much speed drawn around her so she gets her chance.

Traralgon R7 No.2

Getting on in age but she is racing as well as ever. Drawn ideally in box two to punch through and take the early lead. Can be a bit susceptible late over the 525m trip, but this is considerably easier than her last start here where she lined up in a heat of the . Boxed to win.

Mandurah R4 No.8 Nice Garry

Flew around here last week in 27.39 and should strip fitter for that run which was his first start back. Boxed well out wide to avoid early trouble and if he can slip around them to take the lead he should once again prove hard to catch.

Mandurah R8 No.1

Track specialist Miss Bamsy returns tonight and has drawn box one – the same draw she used to win the 3 Mandurah Mail earlier this year. Faces a tough field, but she has good pace and can run slick times so should be winning here.
