Greyhound Racing Tips For Saturday 2nd February 2013

Perth Cup Heats tonight!

The 1 Perth cup and heats are the big draw card tonight with some seriously classy customers engaged. Miata looks to have a strangle hold on the Galaxy, but the Perth cup heats will provide many chances.

All the Corporates, should be offering fixed price on all the races. And that allows a great opportunity to take a Fixed odds Multi on the heats and pick up a nice collect.

Good Luck tonight!

The Meadows Greyhounds. Race 5. Box 4 Allen Dion. 8.37pm Vic time

Quality race with the winner engaged. Cintiarna, from box 6. Not entirely sure, about her from the 6 box here tonight. Theirs no doubting her class and the fact she can run time. But I'm prepared to lay here here,s,o go along hop on board, and lay the recent winner. I am.

My on top selection is the Give me five,Dog in, Allen Dion. He's well over due to win one and from the 4 box he should be able to jump in the leading division here and hopefully prove to good. He has a slick PB of 30.06 around here and if he can get out cleanly and head off the 1 dog Jimmy Krakcorn, he will be mighty hard too beat. Should be reasonable odds and for that reason Im prepared to have have him here. Tough Race!!

Wentworth Park Greyhounds. Race 6 Box 4 and 2. Mr Caluela, Thrilling Frank. 9.08pm Nsw time

720m staying event here which appears to be quite open. Mr. Caluela, was given his chance here last week after, Lead, was slow to begin, but was only able to run second behind her in his own time of 43.04, nearly 10 lengths slower then his PB. He certainly won't need to run his PB here tonight to win this. With clear room early he should position up 3rd or 4th, and hopefully assume the lead mid way and be that little bit too good.

However I'm giving a great chance to the old boy Thrilling Frank. He needs slow pace to win for mine, but he may just get held in on the rails early and if this is the case and he can attain clear galloping room. He's a big danger. Ran a fair 3rd here last week after a slow beginning. But He's capable of beginning much better and holding a much closer forward spot. If he can do this, he's a great rough chance. He has a slick PB of 42.56 second to only Ebby Miss at 42.39 but both dogs posted this a very long time ago. Thrilling Frank, Best roughie!!

Richmond Greyhounds, Race 2. Box 3 Seldom Said. 7.09pm NSW time

Seldom Said did the job for us last week here at good odds. He lines up here in a heat of the Cannonball and looks a huge chance for mine. Make no mistakes about this bloke, he's a tough classy, and extremely honest chaser, who has a fantastic record. Only missing a place 5 times in 37 career outings. One of them coming up the straight at QLD. Where he was wiped right out. And a couple of the others in feature races.

Posted a slick 22.63 here last week, and theirs no doubt at all, he can go Faster!! He just needs that tiny but of room early to show his burn and if he gets it here LOOK OUT! Is a safe beginner and has high speed once balanced up. Not only is he my selection here tonight, but my overall selection to win the final of the Cannonball.

Cannington Greyhounds. Race 4. Box 2 Hot Irish. 8.07 WA time

The local champ lines up here and gets her chance to make the Group 1 Perth Cup next week. Only has to contend with 2 Dogs
Veyron Bale and Wy Yung Tiger. Hot Irish will be primed for this and from the great box should burn straight to the front and give the other two something to chase. Shes super consistent and very honest. That's all she needs to do again here tonight to beat these.

Cannington Greyhounds. Race 6. Box 4 Glen Galllon. 8.52pm Wa time

Well nothing needs to be said here about except that he's run the 4th Fastest time EVER around here second to only the Great Miata!! He is particularly suited here over the big track at and seems to handle the majority of boxes.
Should jump away in the leading division here and prove way to classy and quick for this lot. He's my pick to take out the Perth Cup where Queenslanders have had great recent success with and the trained Size Can Matte
Winning in previous years.

Cannington Greyhounds. Race 9. Box 3 Until Then. 9.47pm Wa time

The Linda Britton trained Until Then goes around here on the heat of the Galaxy and it looks to be a match rave between her and Pedro's Finest. She has loads of early toe and should lead this field comfortably. Does get very tired in the run home but I prefer to back leaders then I do back markers. There's no doubt Pedro's Finest will be off and chasing her but he only needs to get held up early to allow her to win. Question is will he? I'm not too sure.

Travel Bug Miss is a very quick but moody customer and she poses the biggest Danger to the other 2.
I'm sure theirs two of her and when she does bring the better one to the track she's a danger in any field.
Got close enough to Miata a few starts back. And if she repeats that here will give this an All mighty shake.
