Undoubtedly the highlight of today and tonight's greyhound racing is the running of the Group 2 Warragul Cup at Warragul over 460m, and featuring High Earner, Greta Bale, , Enry Walt and Vee Best Vane.

Devonport Greyhounds – Race 7 – Box 4 – Classic Citi – 2:24pm Tas time

The Gary Johnson trained Classic Citi is thw inner of 10 of 26 starts with 4 of thos victories coming from just the 9 starts here at . The black son of Bit Chilli has 25.83 PB next to his name and is a recent heat winner here from box 6. Had no luck in the final from the inside draw but this is easier and he should be able to offset the awkward draw.

Angle Park Greyhounds – Race 9 – Box 7 – Fatal Impact – 2:42pm SA time

The Race A Chaser greyhound syndicate dog Fatal Impact was very impressive winning here last week in a good 30.36 on a slow track. Coming from box 8 last week the black bitch raced outside early leader Dragon Fire before rounding up the leader in the back straight and racing away for a 2.75 length win. The very consistent greyhound is rarely out of a place at Angle Park and in a very similar race this week, look for Fatal Impact to again circle the likely early leader and go on to record back to back wins.

Albion Park Greyhounds – Race 7 – Box 2 – Dynamite Dallas – 5:27pm Qld time

Youngster Dynamite Dallas looks a class above this field. The veteran of just 4 starts has won a maiden semi final at Lismore in 30.47 and is a last start winner here in 30.58 here last week. Has won from both box 1 and box 8, so handles both sides of the track and should be untroubled to lead from box 2 here today. Has too much early pace and a much brighter future than many of these.

Warrnambool Greyhounds – Race 12 – Box 1 – Who Told Scooby – 7:15pm Vic time

Only one of two greyhounds in the race with any early pace whatsoever. Has previously started just the once from box 1 for a win and despite the modest 2 wins from 14 starts record, is better than most of these. Comes off a good 400m win from box 7 and should have no trouble leading here and hanging on.

Warragul Greyhounds – Race 4 – Box 3 – Pepper Slice – 7:47pm Vic time

The Kel Greenough trained Pepper Slice looks the testing material in Warragul's distance race tonight after leading all the way from box 8 here last week's heat in 39.73. That time was just a tad outside other heat winner Us Five's time of 39.64, but with Pepper Slice drawn inside Us Five, it doesn't look like Us Five will be able get to the lead from her box8 draw. Pepper Slice was racing just second up last week since being sent over from Tassie and will only be improved by the run.

2011 Group 2 Warragul Cup Final – Race 8 – Box 1 – Greta Bale – 9:17pm Vic time

With 3 greyhounds engaged in the race, I guess it was a safe bet Graeme Bate would come up with the 1 box but to have given it to Greta Bale has handed him the race on a platter. Even with El Grand Senor engaged in the race, we saw what Greta Bale did to him in the 2010 Ballarat Cup and that win was win number 3 of what is now an unbroken series of 9 wins on the trot. Greta Bale only ran 6.46, 25.75 last week which was slower than El Grand Senor's track record 6.39, 25.51, but he did have box 1 last week and now has to contend with box 5 in a good field. Greta Bale should benefit from last week's look and ping this and bolt in.

Lismore Greyhounds – Race 7 – Box 3 – Four Winds – 8:43pm NSW time

The Jan Finnernan trained greyhounds looks ideally boxed now with the scratchings of 4 and 6 and the vacant box 5. Four Winds was a good winner here last week in 30.36 after running a 4.45 first section and has a 4.39 PB first section to his name. Either leads and wins or runs nowhere, but from this draw tonight and using his early toe he should be able to hold through the first corner and do enough to get home.

Townsville Greyhounds – Race 8 – Box 2 – Gable Roullette – 9:12pm Qld time

Won't be flash odds but should be able to ping the boxes and lead these comfortably. First start over this distance but has won the past 3 in a row over the 380m here either running, or running just outside the best of the night. The winner of 13 of 23 starts is by Gable Lafourche and shows his best on the bunny. Hard to see anything else leading him here and although likely to tire in the run, should set up too bigger break and get the cash.

Gosford Greyhounds – Race 8 – Box 7 – Club Chubby – 9:13pm NSW time

The Warren Harper trained Club Chubby has a good box 7 record having started 4 times for a win and 2 seconds and is yet to finish further back than second from 4 starts at this track and distance. Should go very close to leading from this draw in this race and should be able to improve on his 30.46 best time here.

Mandurah Greyhounds – Race 5 – Box 4 – Gingin On Rocks – 7:20pm WA time

The John Iwanyk trained greyhound ran a slashing 22.67 here last week from box 1 and has won 2 and placed 2 from 5 starts, after a 22.77 qualifying trial here. Has to overcome a difficult draw this week but has more ability than most of these and only has to run up to his 6.67 first sectional time to either be in the lead or outside the leader. Well bred greyhound being by Where's Pedro out of Somerton Lass who would not have been a cheap purchase, and has quite a few wins ahead of him yet.
