Scintillating had been struggling for a little while but last time out at Ballarat he showed a return to form with a strong 23.95 win. Once again he was fair to begin but he showed great mid race pace and then hit the line well, he appears to be regaining more confidence and from the pink he should get all the breaks in the early stages.

Lektra Hawk is also well placed out wide and he hasn't been too far away in his past two, he is likely to get a long way back early but he will be charging home at the end.

Lavender Brown should set a cracking pace and she should give a nice sight at odds, the last 50m is a worry but if they bunch up behind her she may just steal the prize. Dyna Chaser rounds out the chances, he has been placed in six of seven here and he is a class act.

Be Two Bomber is another who looks well placed in the pink draw and he should find this class to his liking. If you go back through his form he did record a top placing here behind the classy Tiggerlong Await and a similar effort tonight would see him get the cash tonight.

Filius Fitwick was placed behind the promising speedster Crackerjack Max at last time and he is drawn to make an impact again, he has also won four of 11 here.

Zulekha led for a long way here last week and she could lead them again tonight and if they happen to shuffle up behind her she may get away with the prize.

Pedro's Twist is the only other winning hope, he has been racing in consistent style and he only needs some luck early to finish in the mix.
