Chelsea Bird has the good box and her past two wins here have been from this draw. Two starts back she speared to the early lead and posted an impressive 22.42 victory here and if she can reproduce that type of form she will take a power of beating. With the highly promising Lady Xanthe in the race she you are likely to get around the $3 mark.

Oz Dazzler showed great improvement when scoring here last week in 22.38 and he should match motors with Chelsea Bird for most of the journey, I dont think he will be able to cross so maybe the quinella spot looks best.

Lady Xanthe has a heap of talent and she has looked impressive in her two wins to date, the concern with her is that she can be slow to begin at times and she will need a heap of luck from this draw.

Princely Bogan rounds out the chances, he has the ability to ping the lids and he could run a cheeky race.

Top Four: 1 – 2 – 4 – 5

Suggested Bets:

Win bet on Chelsea Bird

Bangor Blaze is much better than his recent form reads and with a clean getaway he should be able to make a big impact. He doesn't have a great record here but this is the weakest race he has contested for some time. If he can step on terms he should be able to burn them off early and lead throughout.

King Chaos is poorly drawn but he has a lot of talent, he is resuming from a spell and I would expect him to turn in a big performance fresh. He has won at over 400m in quick in the past and he just needs luck early.

Truly Delicate must be respected, she races well here and she has enough speed to settle in the top three early.

Scootah rounds out the chances, he should get a nice cart across early and he can cause an upset.

Top Four: 3 – 7 – 8 – 2

Suggested Bets:

Win bet on Bangor Blaze

Boxed Quinella: 2,3,7,8 ($6 for 100%)

Exacta: 3,7/2,3,7,8 ($6 for 100%)

Trifecta: 3/2,7,8/Field ($18 for 100%)
