Good line-up of promising youngsters and I think the speedy See Him Next can get the job done. He made his debut here back in October but didn’t have much luck on that occasion, he has since found plenty of confidence at with a slick 25.35 maiden win and in doing so he showed a dazzling turn of early speed. Tonight there isn’t much speed underneath so he should be able to cross quite easily and he will be running time on the bunny.

Gunloch is a member of the powerful McDonald kennel and is showing plenty of promise. In early October he posted two sub 28 second wins at and if he can regain that form he will take some stopping. Fireman Johnny is the value in the event, he is likely to around the $9 mark but his effort here behind Satsuki Bale last time was eye catching.

Dr. Cinnamon has proven to be a little inconsistent in her brief career to date but has raced well of late from wide draws. From the pink tonight she should get a nice cart across from Pachacuti in the early stages and should then be able to burn them off mid race. If she can reproduce the effort which saw her win at Cranbourne in 30.36 she will prove extremely hard to hold out in the run to the line.

Alex’s Entity turned in a big effort when placed here over 400m recently and he should be suited to the rise in journey. He has been a little slow to begin of late but does possess a great turn of foot and if given room in the first 50m he should be able to drive into a prominent position. Pud rounds out the winning chances, she was never headed in her speedy 25.37 Ballarat win last time and should be in the mix for the majority of the journey.
