Got The Picture is a highly promising speedster and he looks well graded in this event. Four starts ago he didn’t have much luck here but he followed that effort up with a slick 25.48 Shepparton win. On that occasion he pinged the lids and never looked in doubt, if he can reproduce that type of effort he should lead all the way again.
Cerberus turned in a top performance when placed at Ballarat two runs back behind the exciting Stompin’ and he appears suited to a wide draw tonight. His box manners aren’t great but if he gets room to muster speed he should be there at the end.
Paranoia has the good draw and he will be charging home at the finish, whilst Come At Me caught the eye when he broke through at Shepparton last time in 25.64.

Mepunga Hayley is going to be fairly short but she looks to be a moral and its worth banking on her in the quaddie. She has been racing against the country’s best sprinters in recent times and she hasn’t been experiencing a lot of luck, tonight is an enormous drop in class and with an ounce of luck in the first 30m she should take care of this lot.
Bazza’s Gift beat a classy lineup at Sandown three runs back in 29.62 and he looks a lock for the quinella spot. He has won two of three here and he should be able to settle in the top three early.
Upset Boy is the run on type in the event, he is much better than his recent form reads and he could be a nice place bet.
Galahad rounds out the place hopes, he is rarely far away in this company and the wide draw isn’t a big disadvantage.
