He normally begins fairly but he does possess a more than handy turn of foot and he should be in the first two or three as they head for the back straight. Cheria Bale looks the danger, four starts ago she stormed home when placed over this journey and if she can begin a little better tonight she should make the favourite work a bit harder for victory. Lyrical Allen was far from disgraced here last start and she should be suited by the drop in class. They appear to be the only genuine winning chances, whilst the strong All About Size could run home into some minor money.

Long Gully Allgo has been racing in very consistent style of late and he appears well placed in his wide draw. Last week he showed a smart turn of foot soon after box rise and he then went on to post a strong 30.34 win here. With a clean getaway today he should be in the top two early and he should put a space in them off the back straight. Our Striker resumed from a spell to post a solid 22.75 win here last week and he should be better suited to this trip. From the red he should settle in a prominent position and he should be able to feature in the finish. Jacko Lankan and Mclaren Prince are two staying types and they must be included in your exotic bets. Both are obviously better suited to a longer trip but this race doesn't have much depth so they should be thereabouts.
