Greyhound Tips For Sunday 9th June 2013
We only managed the one winner last night and unfortunately it was only a half a winer! Our top selection Archie Doodah dead heated with our second selection Lightning Bug at Cannington. Oh well, you can’t win them all…
Albion Park Greyhounds, Race 8 box 2 Kenso Karoo, 7.15pm
This fellow is easily the fastest dog in this race but I’m not so sure he’s racing at his best. At one stage he looked as if he would turn into a very high class galloper. In today’s race he looks the winner but he’s a little out of form, and I suggest punters beware. He needs to jump and find the lure and, if he does, he’s capable of running 35.20. A time only a couple of these can run. If he does happen to miss it, from box 2 he still gets his chance to hunt up early and rail away from them. He’s the best dog in the race, and if he’s eachway odds, I suggest a little eachway.
Gawler Greyhounds Race 8 Box 1 Crumbs, 7.08pm
Crumbs is slowly getting back to his brilliant best, and having drawn the red box here today he’s going to be mighty hard to beat.
He’s a pretty quick dog when he gets his own way he can run time. From the inside alley he should be able to boot up and hold the running around the first turn. The danger may be the talented Long Gully Bob, but beware; he’s a very moody chaser and doesn’t always put in. If he jumps and finds clear running he may give them a galloping lesson in this. Crumbs has the box, and looks the hardest to beat. Win only.
Wagga Wagga, Race 1 Box 1 Grovebrook Boy 5.02pm
We are going to have to have a go a selecting the winner in my namesakes Memorial – The Warren’s Flyer Memorial. Going to go with the box rather then the dog here in this 320m scamper. Grovebrook boy, is a classy animal, but does have better form over the longer journey. If he’s able to bounce out and hold second or third early, he’s going to be very hard to stop. Generally the dog who jumps wins these races, and with all dogs being very equal. I’m sure this will be the case here tonight. Eachway the Box.
Sale Greyhounds, Race 5 Box 2 Wadelock Galo, 6.20pm
We might be able to get good odds here with Wadelock Galo. From box 2 he should get a great sit in behind them early here. If boxes 6 and 8 bounce out and head the field off early, it’s going to make it tough for our selection. But Box 8 runner Dale Bale is back from Tassie and I doubt he will jump. If Daintree Sugar, jumps then expect our selection to be powering home late underneath her. He should be eachway odds and looks a great chance here tonight.
Best of luck
