Leg 1 – Angle Park – Race 5: Winbrook To Win $3.50
Winbrook is a class chaser and he is much better than his recent form reads. Four starts back he turned in a monster effort when narrowly beaten by Footluce Diva over this trip and if he can reproduce a similar effort today he will take a power of beating. The draw isn't great but he generally steps well over this distance and if he balances up in the top two or three he should prove too strong in the run home. He is currently $3.50 with Bet365 and I suggest that you snap up those odds nice and early.
Leg 2 – Ballarat – Race 6: Hail Storming To Win $1.85
Hail Storming is an extremely fast chaser and he is currently racing in dazzling form. Last time out he flew through the first marker when posting a scorching 24.72 Sale win and from the same draw tonight he should take some stopping. He is normally reliable at box rise, he is blessed with an abundance of speed and with keen railers drawn underneath he is drawn to get a clear passage in the early stages. The $1.85 on offer at present is enormous overs as I think he will jump at around the $1.60 mark or even a tad shorter.
Leg 3 – Wentworth Park – Race 7: Rubelly Magic To Place $2
Rubelly Magic is a faultless beginner and she finds herself in a race where she should be able to roll to the early lead and she will give a great sight. The last 50m is always a struggle and I dont think she can win, however she should be three or four in front off the back and that should allow her to hold on for a top three finish. The $2 on offer at the moment is an alright price but you might be able to get a little more value if you take middle tote.
