Leg 1 – WIN – Macarena Miss – Albion Park Race 10 No.7 @ $2.10
Macarena Miss has been racing in terrific form of late and she will be aiming to make it five in a row at Albion Park tonight. She has drawn out wide in box seven but there is not a huge amount of speed engaged in the event so she should be able to cross and take up the early lead. If she lands on the bunny she is capable of running around the 22.70 mark and that should be quick enough to snare this race.
Leg 2 – WIN – Nangar Thunder – Grafton Race 4 No.3 @ $1.40
Nangar Thunder comes from the astute Dave Irwin camp and, although he is having his first start tonight, he trialled in a fast 24.17 at Lismore back in December. He meets a pretty steady line-up here and looks drawn to jump near the lead and win. The $1.40 is very short, but he looks a classy young pup.
Leg 3 – WIN – Molly Be Nimble – Angle Park Race 3 No.7 @ $2.80
Molly Be Nimble looks like a talented bitch in the making and she appears suited by the wide draw at Angle Park tonight. She has shown good early speed in her limited starts to date and she should find herself up near the lead in the charge towards the first turn. If she gets to the front she is capable of breaking the 30 second barrier and that should see her winning.
