Richmond greyhound preview and tips

Richmond will host 12 races this night, with the first to commence at 7:14pm Sydney time. The highlights will be the two middle-distance races with some exceptional greyhounds on show. Australian Racing Greyhound has looked at all 12 races to try and find you a few winners.

Race 5: Royal Sleeper (4)

Royal Sleeper got up in the very last stride over 520m on August 16 and gets into a restricted class 600m race here. The distance will suit him down to the ground, but he will need an ounce of luck early from the middle draw. Royal Sleeper has a distinct class advantage on these, and only bad luck will stop him winning this.

He is well drawn in box two and has a nippy 22.66 personal best at this distance, and if he nails the start, he will be bettering that time here.

I’m Bored has only finished worse than second once in his 12-start career, and that was a fourth at this track and trip back in February. Box eight should suit, as he has some moderate beginners immediately under him. With some pace drawn near the fence, there is a good chance the top bookmakers will give us tremendous value about this boy.
