Rockhampton plays host to a standard 10-race program this Wednesday night with our usual mix of different class races. Let us warm up your night with some good bets along with our quaddie selections.
BEST BET: Five Putt Cal (Race 3)
The Christine Pollard-trained Five Putt Cal (box 2) looks the best bet on the program. This son of Orson Allen is currently in sparkling form. He loves the Rockhampton circuit, as 10 of his 11 career wins have been over this track and distance. He has won his last two starts in best of the night times. On June 1, he began fast from box five to beat Rosa’s Money Bag by 3.5 lengths, clocking a very fast 23.49 seconds. On June 8, he pinged the lids to beat Pereira by 1.25 lengths, clicking a slick 23.58 seconds from box three. Based on that form, he will be winning again tonight but we will be taking short odds.

NEXT BEST: Genius You (Race 4)
The Darren Taylor-trained Genius You (box 4) looks the next best bet on the program. This son of the great Barcia Bale has superior form to most of these starters in this race. Last start, he was luckless and finished out of the placings at Bundaberg June 6, in an open class race from box six. Tonight, drops back to a suitable 5th grade race and has won twice from four starts over this track and distance. He is not a quick beginner but this race looks devoid of good early speed. From this tricky middle draw, he should be able to hold a good early position. If so, he will be might hard to beat as he does finish off his races well.

BEST VALUE: Suited It (Race 2)
Tonight, we are looking to get some early cash in Race 2. The Andrew Suli-trained Suited It (box 8) looks a good value bet. This son of Best Unleashed has found a winnable novice race tonight. He is currently in good form without winning. He has been placed in his last five starts over this track and distance. Can handle a wide draw, as he finished second behind Our Anneeka on April 24 from box eight. The greyhound drawn directly inside of him tonight can show some early speed so expect him to get a good run across early and be hard to hold out.
