Great race to kick off the night and I think the speedy Dr. Phil can make a big impact. Last time out he showed tremendous early speed when scoring at in 24.90 and prior to that he had scored some brilliant wins at when contesting the maiden series. He will need to lead to win tonight but I think he has enough speed to cross and if he finds the bunny early he should be able to breakaway off the back straight.

Emry's is the strong runner in the race and I can't see him missing a place. This race features a heap of early speed, so he should be able to drop onto the rail soon after the start and when the gaps open mid race he will look to make a strong move.

Armed And Ready is going to start favourite and he has been flying at of late having scored three consecutive wins in times. I think he is likely to be under the odds tonight so it's best to just include him in your exotic bets.

Hilda's Best has the good draw and he rounds out the chances, if he can reproduce his 30.33 winning effort from he will prove hard to catch.

Gunloch finally put it altogether at The Meadows last time when scoring in a brilliant 29.98 and I expect him to continue to improve after regaining some confidence. He kicked off his career at Bendigo in fine style in early October but he hadn't experienced much luck since, tonight he should get a nice cart across from Morson Senor early and if he can cross I can't really see him getting reeled in.

Quasi Bale set the track alight here two runs back when scoring in 29.33 and a similar effort tonight would see him make a big impact. The box draw is a bit of a concern tonight but he has run 5.13 to the first marker in his past two starts, if he can do that again that should allow him to settle in a prominent position and he is very strong in the run home.

Margins has a heap of talent but he does make a lot of mistakes in his races, he is going to be well fancied tonight and if he gets some room early he can make a big impact, however I'm not willing to take short odds.

Zeppelin Bale has the good draw and he could run a cheeky race if he can punch through and hold them out, he isn't overly strong so he will need to lead to win.

8COBALT MIST [5]84726NBTM Nash (Little River)

Echelonic Action turned in a monster performance here last week when narrowly beaten and from the red tonight he should be able to go one better. His box manners can sometimes let him down but I expect him to anticipate the start a lot better from the rails draw. This isn't an overly strong race so if he can settle in the top three he should gobble them up off the back straight and go on to score with ease.

Razldazl Pacino is a former Irish chaser and he is now a member of the powerful Greenough kennel, he comes here with strong Irish staying form but the depth of the talent over there is questionable, so just keep an eye on the betting moves with this one.

Dyna Glinda should appreciate the drop in class and I think she has the speed to lead them easily, she is yet to feature in three tries over this trip but all three of those runs where in much stronger company.

Dewana Lass has claims, I dont think she can win but I think she is more than capable of running home into a place.

Sonic Pirate is dropping considerably in class tonight and if he can find the bunny early he should give a great sight. If you go back through his form he was highly competitive against FFA company on a regular basis and with the lack of speed in tonight's race he should be able to pounce on the lead and he can then regain some confidence.

Ester Bale has scored two very strong Meadows wins of late and she gives the indication that this trip will suit. Her winning times haven't been flashy but she has found bother in both races but she has still managed to hit the line hard.

Alexis Kelton has scored back to back brilliant wins here and if she can avoid early bother she will take a power of beating. Both of her wins were from wide draws but they were in easier class and she will need to do everything right tonight.

Young Hawke is the value, he is stepping up in distance and he has the ability to ping and lead. If he sights the bunny early he may just break away off the back and he gives the indication that he can cover the journey.

Spring Leaf can be hard to follow at times but she has a heap of talent and she showed that she isn't far from her best form with a slick 29.45 trial win here recently. In recent starts she has been missing the kick and finding bother, with a wide runner on her outside tonight I'm expecting her to get a clear passage in the early stages and she can then show what she is capable of.

Mepunga Moss is another who is down on form and confidence, however she does her best racing from this draw and at this track, so if she can ping away she should give a great sight on the bunny.

Tiggerlong Amigo is going to be in the market and a win isn't beyond him, three starts back he turned in a great effort when placed behind the classy Star over this journey, he can be hit or miss at box rise but he does muster speed very quickly.

Sisco Rage could be the value bet and he must be included in your quaddies, he has been flying of late and he should get a fairly clear passage early.

10BIG KAT [5]Res.2812435.35(5)C Schlensog (Anakie)

Lamia Bale is absolutely airborne at present and she appears drawn to get all the favours tonight. I'm expecting Awesome Project to be able to boot through and lead at the first bend so that should allow Lamia Bale to drive through early and settle just behind him, she was very strong in the run to the line last time out so she should be able to run over the top of him late in the race.

Awesome Project reeled off great sectionals in his heat win last week and he should produce a similar effort tonight, my only concern is that second up over this journey he may be a little flat and he may fold up in the home straight, so I dont think he can win but he is a great place chance.

Joey Valdez was far from disgraced in his heat and he should run a bottler again at nice odds. With slow beginners drawn on his outside he should get a clear passage early and he won't be far away at the end.

Ralphy Cinel will be well supported but I'm not convinced about his chances, he must cross and lead to win and I dont think he has speed to cross the inside two.

Texas Titan has been crying out for this journey and with any sort of luck early he should put an absolute space in this lot. Two starts ago he beat the classy Oakvale Destiny at Angle Park in a scintillating 29.66 and a repeat of that effort would see him win with ease tonight.

Tekki Minx turned in a solid effort when placed here last week and from the red she should lead for a long way, outside of the favourite this is a pretty weak race so if she can hold them out early she should give them something to catch.

Setsuna Bale is well drawn nearer the inside and she is suited to this journey, she should get a nice sit on the red early and she has great place claims.

Alpha Leva Keato should match motors with Tekki Minx for most of the journey, I dont think he is good enough to win but he can hold on for a place.

8MAXIMUM LIL [4]8126129.39(2)A Dailly (Anakie)

Dyna Yemen is an explosive talent and from the red he should be able to hold them out early and he will then be running some serious time on the bunny. There isn't much speed on his outside so he should get enough room in the first 50m to show his dazzling turn of foot. I'm a huge fan of this bloke and I reckon he will go on to win much better races than this.

Humphrey Bale returned to form with a slick 29.94 Meadows win two runs back and he followed that effort up with a strong placing here last week, he is poorly drawn again tonight but he has the early speed to overcome that.

Maximum Lil is drawn poorly but she flew around the Meadows last time in 29.86, if she can ping away she might just be able to cross and if she finds the she will prove hard to gun down.

Dyna Ostrander is never far away in this company and he could be the value, he should find the rail early and he can then make a strong move mid race.

Allen Eryk was never out of trouble here last time out but at his start prior he turned in a monster performance when placed behind Eliza Blanche over this journey. He normally steps cleanly and he musters pace quickly once he hits the ground, it's also worth noting that he did record his brilliant 34.15 PB here from this draw.

Smart Maxwell has the ability to ping to the lead and when he is on the bunny he can run some serious time. He is much better than his recent form suggests and he should appreciate the drop in class tonight.

Exquisitus could be the value in the race, two starts back he showed great improvement when placed at Cranbourne and he has won here previously in very good time.

He Isn't Really has the good draw and he might just step a little better from the red. He is down on confidence at present but if he can sight the bunny early he should give a great sight.

Alex's Entity showed his true ability with a dazzling 29.48 win here last week and with a similar clean getaway he should get the job done again. With two 515m runs under his belt now he should be getting even stronger and I believe that he may be able to go a fair bit quicker.

Papa Hook has been racing in consistent style of late and he should be in the mix for most of the journey, two starts back he was narrowly beaten by the in form Joey Valdez and if he can reproduce that type of effort he will give a great sight, this is probably the easiest race he has contested for a while.

Creative Karisma is resuming after a month off and he should be primed for a bold showing, he has won four of eight here and he has a sizzling 29.34 PB here.

Veyron Bale is a super talent but he can be very hard to follow, if he happens to get some room to muster early he will run a monster race.

I know he has let us down a couple of times now but I'm still keeping faith with Babylon Club, he has turned in some great efforts of late and I think he is going to be great each way value again tonight. From the pink he should get room to muster speed and I can see him crossing to the early lead and if he does he should be able to break away off the back straight.

Xtreme Knocka was disappointing at Ballarat last time but I'm expecting a better performance tonight, he should be able to find the rail soon after the start and that is when he shows his best form. Miss Society is going to be nice odds and she is capable of running a very cheeky race, two starts back she led for most of the journey until she was gunned down by the brilliant Nockabout Aussie, if she pings and leads again she might just go one better tonight. Avondale Porche is a super talent and she is going to be well supported, she obviously has great claims but from the middle pin she will need all the breaks early.

Tough race to finish off the night but I think Left Is Right can bounce back into form. He has been missing the kick of late but I know he is better than that so tonight I'm expecting him to ping away and if he finds the early lead there isn't anything in this race that can reel him in.

Dyna Fatbob was a slick 29.58 winner here three runs back and if he can find the rail without too much trouble he can make an impact, he is a little hit or miss at box rise but if he can step cleanly he should be able to follow Zambora Power and Left Is Right across in the early stages. Batmandu is the run on type in the event, he has a great record here over 595m and he must be included in your exotic bets.

Top Four: 4 – 6 – 2 – 1
