Leg 1 – Sale – Race 7: Burekup Boy To Place $3.10
Burekup Boy doesn't have great form and he is taking on a couple of handy ones tonight, however he is perfectly placed in the wide and I'm expecting there to be quite a bit of bunching underneath him. He will stay out wide on the track, so that should allow him to swoop into a prominent position as they head for the back straight. He is quite strong in the run home, so if he is in the first half of the field at the mid way mark, he should threaten for a top three finish.
Leg 2 – Sale – Race 10: Sonny's Salute To Place $1.73
Sonny's Salute hasn't won for a little while but he has been racing in consistent fashion with four placings in his past six starts. He is normally a fair beginner but he does muster speed very quickly and with some luck in the first 50m he should be able to poke through and hold the early lead. He might find it hard to hold off the two in the run home but he should give a great sight and he might be worth a win bet on the side.
Leg 3 – Sale – Race 12: Booma Mikado To Place $3.75
Booma Mikado is another who doesn't have great form but she is clearly better than that and she should appreciate the drop in class tonight. She is blessed with brilliant early speed when she is switched on and although she is awkwardly draw she should have the speed to cross and find the lure. Her last 40m isn't great but she should have enough in the tank to hold on for some minor money. She is enormous value at $3.75 to place.
