Race 1 – 525M Grade 5 – 7:15PM

The well drawn Thunderlips has won three of his past four starts in impressive fashion and he should make a big impression in his metropolitan debut. Of the three wins, the most impressive was the 25.90 win in which he showed a tremendous turn of foot and he hit the line quite strongly.

Praise Chorus looms as the obvious danger, he has been racing in much stronger company and with two average beginners drawn underneath he should get every chance. Dewana Hitman has a big time engine but I think he may need a look at the track. Highbury has the ability to cause a boiler also.

Top Four: 8 – 3 – 7 – 4

Suggested Bet: Win bet on Thunderlips.

Race 2 – 525M Grade 5 – 7:37PM

Zipping Snoopy was desperately unlucky here last week, after beginning well he was posted wide for the entire trip and he didn't get a chance to show his best. Prior to that he caught the eye with a sizzling 25.25 win, tonight he should find the rail in the early stages and he will take a power of beating.

Ever Alert has recorded two brilliant placings of late and he is bursting to breakthrough again. He should be able to follow Zipping Snoopy across and he will figure prominently. Lektra Hawk has finally put it all together and he should be in the mix again.

Top Four: 4 – 5 – 6 – 3

Suggested Bet: Win bet on Zipping Snoopy.

Race 3 – 600M Grade 5 – 8:00PM

Proven Trendy has experienced no luck in his two middle distance efforts to date and tonight he should make amends. In recent times he has been racing in much stronger company and with a clear run early he looks to be great value.

Unix Bale has a solid record here and she has been placed in seven of her past eight starts. Normally a reliable beginner, I would expect her to settle on the speed and be a major player. Half Way There is an exciting prospect who has impressed with two sizzling wins recently, he can be slow to begin at times, prefer to watch him tonight and I expect him to improve with more racing.

Top Four: 6 – 4 – 2 – 7

Suggested Bets: Win bets on Proven Trendy and Unix Bale (more on Proven Trendy).

Race 4 – 725M Grade 5 Final – 8:20PM

Heaps Of Ability is expected to start a short priced favourite and I honestly can't see him getting rolled. After a few luckless efforts he has found his way and scored two brilliant staying wins here and at Sandown. The most impressive was the scorching 41.69 Sandown effort and a repeat of that will see him win convincingly.

Grifter Bale is well drawn out wide and he may be a value bet. Two starts ago he was beaten by under four lengths behind Heaps Of Ability, he has the speed to lead and he can cause a boil over. Beks and Darbain Dasher look to be the other winning hopes.

Top Four: 5 – 6 – 3 – 4

Suggested Bets:

Trifecta: 5/3,4,6/3,4,6 ($6 for $1)

Trifecta: 5/3,4,6/Field ($18 for $1)

Race 5 – 525M Mixed 4/5 – 8:38PM

In a race which lacks early speed and depth, the trained Brent Bale gets his chance to return to form. He has been racing in much stronger company of late and tonight he should fire to the early lead and prove too strong for his rivals.

Jack Silver is highly talented on his night but he can be very hit or miss at box rise. I'm anticipating that he will step cleanly tonight and follow Brent Bale across in the early stages. With an unimpeded run he should find himself fighting out the finish.

Top Four: 5 – 6 – 3 – 1

Suggested Bet: Win bet on Brent Bale.

Race 6 – 525M Grade 4 – 8:57PM

Fort Allen showed a glimpse of his best form when placed here last week from tonight's draw. Normally a , he should have no trouble crossing in the early stages and there isn't anything overly strong in this event. At the $4.50 mark he looks to be a solid investment.

Hailstorm Billy is dropping back in distance and he is likely to get burnt off in the early stages, however with a few chasers lacking strength, I can see him hitting the line hard and filling the quinella spot. Cee Ronaldo and Gimme Fuel both need to be included in quaddie investments.

Top Four: 8 – 5 – 1 – 2

Suggested Bet: Trifecta: 1,5,8/1,5,8/1,2,3,5,7,8 ($24 for $1)

Race 7 – 600M Mixed 4/5 – 9:20PM

Duchess Bale steps up back up to 600m tonight and she would have been sharpened up by some solid 525M wins here. She has won over this trip in the past and she is blessed with early speed. Tonight she has a few slow beginners drawn underneath so she should get every chance to cross initially.

is the likely favourite and he is a gun chaser, however my concern is that he is not suited by the draw and he has been missing the kick of late. If he gets a some luck initially he will feature but I think he will have to work overtime tonight. Tweed Bay Day is getting close to another win and he must be respected, whilst Tick Bale looked impressive in his top 34.32 Sandown Park win.

Top Four: 5 – 7 – 2 – 3

Suggested Bet: Win bet on Duchess Bale.

Race 8 – 525M Grade 3/4 – 9:42PM

Dyna Beth finally returned to form with a solid 30.23 win here in late April. Tonight she is drawn to get a clear passage in the early stages and with wide runners drawn outside she should zip away as they head through the first bend. She looks a great Each Way bet.

Premier Event has a handy 30.06 PB here and he is very reliable early. He should be able to settle in the first three and he is normally pretty strong in the run home, so he should make his presence felt. Jordan Allen is much better than his recent form suggests, if he is double figures he may be worth a saver bet.

Top Four: 1 – 3 – 4 – 5

Suggested Bets: Win bets on Dyna Beth and Jordan Allen.

Race 9 – 525M Grade 4 – 10:05PM

Great Spartacus has been racing in much stronger company of late and he should find this more to his liking. With slow beginners drawn all around him, the wide draw should suit and if he can reproduce his slick 29.89 PB here he will get the cash.

Nothing Much is a keen railer and I'm expecting him to carve across early and make the race for Great Spartacus. I think Great Spartacus will burn him off mid race but he should hold on for the quinella spot. Fanciful Moments will hit the line hard and it's worth anchoring him for third and fourth in your exotic bets.

Top Four: 6 – 5 – 1 – 2

Suggested Bets: Win bets on Great Spartacus and Nothing Much (more on Great Spartacus.

Race 10 – 525M Grade 5 – 10:25PM

Dyna Yenite has a solid record here and he has recently recaptured his best form. After scoring a top 25.64 win, he pinged to the lead and smashed a quality field with a sizzling 25.26 Shepparton win. Tonight he should assume control mid race and run away with the prize.

Frank Furter is expected to lead in the early stages, his last 60m is a big worry though, so he looks to be a great place chance. It is now official that Lunar Tom is a non chaser and no matter what the circumstance, he refuses to go past the leader, maybe anchor him for second and third in exotic bets.

Top Four: 4 – 3 – 1 – 5

Suggested Bet: Have a crack at Dyna Yenite.

Race 11 – 525M Grade 5 – 10:42PM

Al Moran has been racing in dazzling style of late and most importantly his box manners have been faultless. If he can continue to step cleanly he should have no trouble leading throughout tonight. He should be around the $3.20, which is great value considering he will be running sub 30 on the bunny.

Omar Gee is always thereabouts in his races but his box manners continue to cause him problems. I'm expecting him to miss the kick again tonight but he should find the rails early and that will bring him back into contention. Lektra Brave and Liara Allen both have solid claims.

Top four: 4 – 2 – 7 – 8

Suggested Bets:

Trifecta: 4/2,7,8/Field ($18 for $1)

Trifecta: 2,4/2,4/Field ($12 for $1)

Race 12 – 525M Grade 5 – 11:00PM

Tiggerlong has strung together four impressive wins and tonight from the good draw he should continue on his winning way. There are a number of leaders in this event and I'm sure he has sufficient speed to hold them out. If you can get $2.60 or better, load up.

Dyna Irvine had little luck in his Meadows debut last week and tonight he is drawn to get the gun run behind Tiggerlong Amigo. I don't think he can reel in the leader but he should have enough in the tank to hold on for second. Access missed the kick here last week, if he steps on terms tonight he should figure prominently.

Top four: 1 – 2 – 5 – 8

Suggested Bets: Put the nights profits on Tiggerlong Amigo and have a little something on the quinella with Dyna Irvine.

Quaddies

5,6/1,2,5,7,8/2,3,5,7/1,3,4 ($60 for 50c)

1,3,5,6/1,2,5,7,8/5/1,3,4 ($60 for $1)
