Leg 1 – Angle Park – Race 5: Lobo Loco To Place $2.62
Lobo Loco is well placed out wide and he is much better than his recent form reads. He has won two of his ten tries over this journey and if he can step cleanly he should be able to settle in a forward position and he should be able to regain some confidence. He has fair beginners drawn on either side and there isn't a whole lot of early speed engaged in the event, so if he does the right thing early he could be saluting at very nice odds.
Leg 2 – Angle Park – Race 10: Mighty Quoted To Win $2.20
Mighty Quoted has been racing in very consistent fashion of late and he appears drawn to get the run of the race. He isn't the greatest of beginners but he does have a good turn of foot and with the red expected to lead, he should be able to drive through and sit on her hammer as they head for the back straight. He is extremely strong in the run home and if he avoids bother, he should be able to pick off the leader half way down the home straight.
Leg 3 – Albion Park – Race 10: Head Shy To Place $2.25
Head Shy is a big talent and if he handles the track at his first look, he should run a monster race. He was a recent finalist in the Lismore Cup and he turned in a monster effort to score in his heat and post an impressive 30.12. There are quite a few fast beginners in this race, so I'm hoping he misses the kick and drops onto the rail. He should get a nice run through at the first turn and if he is within five of the leader off the back, he will make his presence felt.
