Wednesday’s free greyhound racing multi bet, July 15, 2015.
WHILE our multi bet was unsuccessful yesterday, we are confident of a top result today with three promising legs which are offering some terrific value for greyhound punters.
Our multi kicks off in race four at The Meadows, with combined odds of $6.74 on offer with online bookie Bet365.
Leg 1 – The Meadows – Race 4: Will Be Back To Place $1.91
Will Be Back is an ultra consistent chaser and with an ounce of luck he should be right in the finish. He has been placed in seven of his past eight starts and he looks set for another top three finish. I'm expecting the inside division to step well and drive through and hold the early lead, that should allow him to drop in behind them early and he will be very strong in the run home. He can win the race but I think the $1.91 with Bet365 is a steal for a top three finish.
Leg 2 – Ballarat – Race 6: Blue Giant To Place $1.57
Blue Giant is a class act when on song and he should appreciate the drop in class tonight. He is poorly drawn, but I'm expecting him to miss the kick and that should allow him to drop in behind them and get a nice sit in the early stages. He has fantastic mid race speed and if the gaps open at the right time he should be in front before they reach the home turn. He really is a great talent and he deserves to return to the winners list.
Leg 3 – Wentworth Park – Race 8: Opus Forte To Win $2.25
Opus Forte is a freakish talent and from his favourable pink draw he should be winning tonight. Two runs back he caught the eye with a powerful 29.65 victory here and he does own a blistering 29.41 PB here. There is a little bit of speed drawn in the middle but once he gets balanced up he should be able to give them windburn at the first bend. He is enormous value at the $2.25 quote with Bet365 and I think you should snap it up early.
