Are Jai Que has an enormous amount of talent and she is unbeaten in her four tries over this journey. Last time out she captured the Bathurst Cup Final and on that occasion she posted a sizzling 29.76. If she steps cleanly tonight she should be able to blaze across and lead and that should be the end of the section.
Jumble was far from disgraced when placed in a heat of the Richmond Derby last time and he should find this easier. He isn’t a brilliant beginner but he does muster speed quickly and Miss Sueko should run cover for him in the run to the first turn, he has the ability to reel the leader in but he can’t afford to give her too big of a head start.
Kiss The Hawk has the good draw and he has been placed in six of his past eight starts, from the inside he should be able to hold a top four spot early and he is fairly strong in the run to the line.
Top Four: 8 – 3 – 1 – 4
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Are Jai Que with William Hill

Schooner Doll has come up with the good draw and if he can reproduce the effort which saw him place here last week he should prove very hard to reel in. Last week he reeled off a dazzling 5.35 to the first marker and that type of effort would see him lead clearly tonight, Flash Earner will also move a little to the right at box rise so that should also work in his favour.
Stuart Town hasn’t won for a little while but he has turned in some great performances here, he is normally a reliable beginner and he does muster quite well. Last week he was far from disgraced when narrowly beaten by Miss Sueko and he should find this class more to his liking.
Zipping Bruno has a big engine when on song and he should be primed for a bold first up showing. His last start was in December and prior to going for a spell he had scored some impressive wins in his brief career.
Lunar Sky must be included in your exotics, she has the speed to cross and put herself in contention early and she has been racing in great form of late.
Top Four: 1 – 3 – 7 – 8
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Schooner Doll with William Hill
Exacta: 1,3/1,3,7,8 ($6 for 100%)
Quinella: 1 to rove with 3,7,8 ($3 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1/3,7,8/Field ($18 for 100%)

Exciting Victorian chaser Repayments is making his Wentworth Park debut and he looks well placed in this class. In recent weeks he has scored brilliant wins at Geelong and Bendigo respectively and on both occasions he has beaten his gun kennelmate Margins, who he faces again tonight. He normally steps well but his biggest asset is his turn of foot soon after box rise, with a fast beginner and keen railer drawn underneath, he should be afforded a very clear passage in the run to the first turn.
Margins is probably a little more talented than his kennelmate but he doesn’t possess the same early brilliance. If he had drawn outside of Repayments, he would have been my top pick, however he has a fair bit of speed drawn on his outside so the quinella spot appears best.
Nightwatchmen is the run on type in the event and he could be a good anchor for second and third in your exotics. Two starts back he unleashed a whirlwind finish when scoring here in 30 flat and if he gets the breaks mid race he will be right in the mix.
Encosta Deplente has the speed to lead and he has a solid record here, I dont think he can hold on for the win but he can maybe sneak away with some minor money.
Top Four: 4 – 2 – 6 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Repayments with William Hill
Boxed Quinella: 2,3,4,6 ($6 for 100%)
Exacta: 2,4/2,3,4,6 ($6 for 100%)

Very tough race but if Let It Develop can come out on terms with the field he should have the speed to lead from go to whoa. Two starts back he was narrowly beaten here in good time and on that occasion it took the classy Whittaker forever to reel him in. There isn’t a lot of strength in tonight’s lineup so if he finds the lure early he should be running time and he is likely to get the cash.
Uno Suzie has a good record here having been placed in all five tries. Two starts back she showed smart early speed when scoring here in 29.88 and if she reproduces that type of effort she will make Let It Develop work very hard for victory.
Velvet Flame recently returned to form with a sizzling 29.78 win here and if she can cross the inside division she will get her chance to score, however I’m a little concerned that she will be posted wide for most of the trip and therefore place claims appear best.
Cosmic Angel has the class edge but the draw is a big concern for him, he can probably sneak into some minor money but from the wide draw I’m expecting him to find a bit of bother.
Top Four: 2 – 1 – 4 – 8
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Let It Develop with William Hill
Boxed Quinella: 1,2,4,8 ($6 for 100%)
Exacta: 1,2/1,2,4,8 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 2/1,4,8/Field ($18 for 100%)

Zipping Carter has come up with the good draw and if he can hold a forward spot as they negotiate the first turn he will prove extremely hard to hold out. There is a fair bit of speed drawn out wide in this event but Lani Banarni does like to move off through the turns so that should give Zipping Carter plenty of room to push through early. He has won three of nine here with four placings, so he handles the track well and he just needs a little luck in running.
Zipping Abby is ideally drawn out wide but I am a little worried about the speed in box eight. If she can avoid Topper Road early and balance up in the top three, she should be right there at the end.
Zipping Midge recently captured the National Futurity Final and if she can show a similar display of speed tonight she will prove hard to stop, she is normally a very reliable beginner but this race does have a heap of speed in it so she will still need some luck early.
Topper Road scored two great wins here in January and he has the speed to cross, he was a tad disappointing here last week but I’m expecting an improved performance this time around.
Top Four: 1 – 7 – 6 – 8
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Zipping Carter with William Hill
Quinella: 1 to rove with 6,7,8 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 1,7/1,6,7,8 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1/6,7,8/Field ($18 for 100%)

Lady Toy is making her Wentworth Park debut but she has come up with the coveted red draw and she will prove extremely hard to hold out. Since joining the Ennis camp she has gone from strength to strength and she is showing a lot more early and mid race zip. From the red she should balance up in the top three early on and she should prove too strong for her rivals.
Mullaway is a serious chaser and last time out he ran the hands off the clock when running a near record 34.58 at Albion Park. He has one try here for a placing and the experience around this circuit will definitely be an advantage. He can sometimes miss the kick but if he does happen to ping and find the lead, he will take a power of beating.
Opec Bale is a classy Victorian stayer and he has scored some stellar wins in his brief career to date, he is suited to the wide draw tonight and he just needs some luck mid race to feature.
Mr. Corsair rounds out the chances, he has a solid record here and he should be running home into the placings.
Top Four: 1 – 3 – 8 – 5
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Lady Toy with William Hill
Exacta: 1,3/1,3,5,8 ($6 for 100%)
Quinella: 1 to rove with 3,5,8 ($3 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1/3,5,8/Field ($18 for 100%)

Chasing The Line returned to his brilliant best here last week and with another clean beginning he should be able to go back to back. After stepping well last week he never looked in doubt and scored in commanding fashion, tonight there is a heap of speed drawn inside but I’m expecting them to shuffle up and that should allow him to carve across and dash away as they head for the back straight.
Tinkabella Rose should be able to follow the seven across early and she should be in the mix for most of the journey, last week she looked very strong in the run to the line when posting a zippy 30.07 victory here.
Lord Gee is an exciting prospect and he will continue to improve, he doesn’t have great box manners but he does must speed very quickly and if he avoids early bother he should put himself into contention.
Paua Explosion is a big talent but she is drawn inside out and I can see her finding a lot of bother tonight.
Top Four: 7 – 8 – 3 – 1
Suggested Bets:
Win bets on Chasing The Line & Tinkabella Rose with William Hill
Boxed Quinella: 1,3,7,8 ($6 for 100%)

I’m Pedro is currently racing in career best form and he should get every chance to lead throughout. Last time out he led for a long way in a heat of the Richmond Derby and he appeared to hang in forever, tonight’s event appears to be a lot more suitable and if he finds the lead early he won’t receive as much pressure mid race.
Assertive Bella is a classy sprinter and she is much better than her past two starts suggest. From the red she should be able to push through into a prominent spot early and if she settles in the top two she will prove hard to hold out.
Spacecraft has won four on end and all four of those victories have been in blistering times, he is always a concern at box rise but if he is afforded a clear run he will be right in the mix.
My Boy Snoop rounds out the chances, he is a freakish talent when on song and if he happens to get across he could salute at nice odds.
Top Four: 2 – 1 – 3 – 7
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on I’m Pedro with William Hill
Exacta: 1,2/1,2,3,7 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 2/1,3,7/Field ($18 for 100%)
Quinella: 2 to rove with 1,3,7 ($3 for 100%)

Goldengrove Lad caught the eye when scoring here last week in a sizzling 29.91 and if he pings away tonight I can see him getting down to the 29.60 mark. He has only had the 10 starts to date but in his past two starts he has shown tremendous improvement and if he continues to maintain this type of form he is going to be a star of the future.
To A Tee is never far away in his races and he powered to the line when winning at Maitland two runs back in 25.25. The box draw is against him tonight but he should be able to find the rail soon after the start and if he can settle in the first half he should be there at the end.
Sokyo is a brilliant beginner and he recently scored two sizzling 297m Dapto wins, he is stepping back up in distance tonight but he has won a number of races over this distance range so that shouldn’t be too much of a concern.
Lord Licrick was a slick 29.96 winner here three runs back and with a clear run early he appears to be a winning chance. I would have preferred him from an inside draw but he has good speed and with a clean getaway he should put himself into contention.
Top Four: 1 – 4 – 7 – 6
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Goldengrove Lad with William Hill
Quinella: 1 to rove with 4,6,7 ($3 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1/4,6,7/Field ($18 for 100%)
1st: $4,350 2nd: $1,235 3rd: $620.

Tough race to end the night but I think if Still Searchin’ can avoid early bother she can salute at nice odds. She hasn’t had a lot of luck in recent events but if you go back through her form she does have a slick 30.08 Dapto win to her credit and since then she has been racing in very strong company.
No Jockey Needed is capable of pinging the lids and he could lead them for a long way, four starts back he won here in 30.41 but the track was slow that night, so I would expect him to go a bit quicker tonight.
Forensics is much better than his recent form reads and he could be worth an each way ticket. He has been taking on some good chasers of late and he will appreciate the drop in class.
Devil Prince rounds out the hopes, he has been placed in his past four here and he should get a nice cart across in the early stages.
Top Four: 7 – 4 – 8 – 2
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Still Searchin’ with William Hill
Quinella: 7 to rove with 2,4,8 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 4,7/2,4,7,8 ($6 for 100%)
Trifecta: 4,7,8/2,4,7,8/2,4,5,6,7,8 ($36 for 100%)
