Good race to kick off the night and if Fantastic Spiral gets an ounce of luck early he will take a power of beating. He is resuming from a three and half month spell and he should be primed for a bold first up showing, prior to going for a spell he had scored some very slick Dapto wins along with a blistering 29.77 win here.

Lord Gee appears to be the main danger after last week’s 30.38 win here, the time wasn’t flashy but the manner in which he won was impressive and he should be able to improve immensely on the clock tonight.

Big Bad Brenda is the run on type in the event, she has been solidly placed in her past three runs here and with some luck mid race she shouldn’t be too far away again.

Parisian Mac rounds out the chances, he recently scored a commanding 25.64 win and he has won here previously.

Lord Licrick is a highly exciting speedster and two starts back he really caught the eye when posting a smart 29.96 win here. On that occasion he went through the first marker in a zippy 5.41 and if he can reproduce that type of run he should be able to cross early and zip away mid race. This is the strongest company he has contested to date but I think he is a chaser going places.

Atrax Robustus has won three of his past five starts and two of those were in very fast times at The Gardens, his win here wasn’t in overly impressive time but he looked a little lost on the turns and I’m expecting him to improve quite a fair bit on the clock.

Paua Explosion has an amazing turn of foot and he is clearly a chance, however I am a little concerned because he doesn’t have great box manners and he has a fair bit of speed drawn on his outside.

Priceless must be included in your exotic bets, he has a solid record here and he is drawn to settle somewhere near the speed.

Topper Road was a recent finalist in the National Derby final here and in that series he continually displayed brilliant early speed. The box draw isn’t great tonight but he has a wide runner drawn on his outside and a keen railer underneath so it should open up for him soon after box rise. His recorded his PB here in his most recent victory and he appears to be getting stronger with every run.

Ritza Hattie can be very hard to follow at times but she is a super talent when on song and she has a terrific record over this trip. The three should run some cover for her early on so she should get every chance to put herself into contention.

Cawbourne Rev could be the value, she was far from disgraced when placed here last time and she has won five of 13 over this trip previously.

Tautology rounds out the chances, he has been racing consistently at Bulli of late and he should be suited to the wide draw.

Interesting race with the established stayer Tuavasa Shek taking on the up and comer in Zipping Geoff. I’m giving the nod to Zipping Geoff, he has now had two solid runs over this track and trip and last time out he appeared to hit the line a little better. The time wasn’t great but he had to overcome some mid race difficulties and I think he might be able to lead tonight’s event.

Tuavasa Shek has won five on end and if he can avoid early bother he will prove very hard to hold out. Two starts back he powered to the line when posting a smart 42.53 win here, the smaller field will suit tonight and he appears to be the most genuine stayer in the event.

Smooth Number is poorly drawn out wide but he is ultra consistent and he is proven in this company. He will need to cross and lead if he is to win but if he does settle in the first half of the field he should run a drum.

Very open affair and although she is having her first look at the track, I’m going to go with Kingsbrae Lavina. She is armed with blinding early speed and three of her past four wins have come from wide draws. If she can step cleanly tonight she should be able to burn them off at the first bend and that will allow her to get away mid race.

Martin Clegg is a fantastic chaser and he has turned in two mammoth performances in his two most recent wins. From the middle pin he is going to need a lot of luck again but if he gets it he will definitely be right in the mix.

Exhibitionist can be hard to follow but she returned to her best with a dominant 30.31 Lismore win last week, if she pings away again she will give them something to catch.

Spacecraft is another who is in devastating form and he can’t be forgotten, he has scored three explosive Gosford wins in recent weeks but my concern is that he takes a couple of strides to get going and from the middle pin he is going to need a lot of luck.

Let It Develop was beaten in his heat last week but his effort was ultra impressive. After missing the kick, he showed a blistering turn of foot and assumed control as they headed for the back straight. The powerful Whittaker was able to land within three lengths of him off the back straight but it still took him an eternity to reel in Let it Develop. If Let It Develop can step better tonight I think he can break away mid race and he should steal the prize.

Zipping Eastwood began a lot better in his 29.91 heat win last week and he is drawn to get the run of the race behind the one and three early, he will need some luck as he moves wide through the bend but if he doesn’t get crowded he should be running over the top of them late in the race.

Whittaker is a star and he has wonderful track sense, from the draw he is going to need a lot of luck but if the gaps open mid race he should be right in the mix.

Jack Kade has the good draw and he can lead for a long way, however I think he may struggle in the last 40m in this class.

Queen Esther has a tremendous record over this trip and she should appreciate the drop in class tonight. With a slow beginner on her inside and an average beginner on her outside, she should be afforded a clear run in the early stages and she is a different chaser when she can land on the lure. She is clearly not at her best at the moment but she can still post around 29.85 and that would be good enough to win.

Karma Connie is a very talented chaser and she is extremely strong, last time out she led all the way at The Gardens and posted a slick 34.81. The wide draw doesn’t suit tonight but the six should bring her across early and if she settles in the first half of the field I can’t see her missing a place.

To A Tee was narrowly beaten in fast time here two runs back and he is ultra reliable. He doesn’t have a heap of early speed but he does have great track sense and he should be able to work his way through the field.

Eyeful Of Bling is the interesting runner, he had little luck in his NSW debut last week and I’m expecting him to show a lot of improvement.

Foxy Nakita is an exciting talent and she appears drawn to get the run of the race tonight. Two starts back she reeled off a breathtaking 5.38 to the first marker before stopping the clock in a very smart 29.70. Rue De Kahn should create a clear passage for her early and if she finds the lure I can’t see them getting near her.

Rue De Kahn had put in a couple of shockers but her last two starts have shown that she is nearing her best form again. She is armed with early speed so she should lead for the first 50m but her flat spot mid race means that she will likely give up the lead to Foxy Nakita.

She is quite strong but I think the quinella spot looks likely for her as I dont believe she can reel in Foxy Nakita who will be running around the 29.65 mark.

Assertive Bella is all class and she has excelled since coming to NSW and joining the Mackay camp, she is poorly drawn in the middle and her consistent 5.50 to the first marker will see her getting strung up in traffic early. She generally hits the line well so she is still good enough to run home into the placings.

Chasing The Line is much better than his recent form reads and he should be suited by the drop in class. Four starts back he pinged the lids and destroyed a classy lineup when posting a blistering 29.67 over this trip, if he can get anywhere near that tonight he should blow them away.

She’s Andy has been racing in great heart over the middle distances of late and she looks well placed in the red draw tonight. She doesn’t have a heap of early speed but if she steps cleanly she should be able to settle in around third or fourth spot, she is extremely strong and it might be worth anchoring her for second and third in your exotic bets.

Gundal A Gogo has won five of 12 to date and most of those wins have been in slick times. Last time out he won by a whopping nine lengths when posting a zippy 29.72 at Gosford, he will need some luck to get across early but if he does he will take some stopping.

Open race to end the night and I think we can find some value with Oban. She hasn’t won for a while but she has been taking on much stronger company of late and she has turned in some great performances. If she can avoid early bother and enter the back straight in the top three she should be fighting out the finish.

Evidence is an improving type and he was never headed in his 28.94 Bulli win last time out, he should be suited to the rails draw tonight and if he can hold them out he should give a bold sight.

Red Bastien can show early speed in his races and he is showing promise, he has slow beginners drawn on either side tonight so he should get every chance to put himself into contention.
