Zipping Spike has been racing against much stronger company of late and with an ounce of luck early he should be able to open up his Wentworth Park account. Last time out he just couldn’t keep up with the explosive Lithgow Panther, with a good getaway tonight he should be able to roll to the lead as they pass the post the first time and he should prove too strong for his rivals.
Smooth Number has a great record here and he should fill the quinella spot, I’m expecting him to sit just behind Zipping Spike for most of the trip. He is quite strong but I don’t think he will be able to reel the leader in.
Irinka Lylea is showing plenty of promise as a stayer and she should run a cheeky race, from the red she will be able to balance up in the top three early and she could give the two favourites a little scare as they turn for home.
Laugh With Mary is the only other chance, she has a poor record here but she has been racing in strong company of late.
Top Four: 2 – 4 – 1 – 8

Schooner Doll has been costly in recent months but he has the ability to ping the lids and with the lack of speed in this event he might be able to get a cheap lead. He is a different chaser when he can lead and dictate the terms, from box six he should go around at the $6 and he could be worth an each way ticket.
Jumble didn’t have any luck at all when resuming from a spell and he should run an improved race tonight. With an even getaway he should be able to push through and settle in a fairly prominent spot and like Schooner Doll he is capable of running serious sectionals when on the lure.
Velvet Flame is never far away in these types of races and she should come across with the six in the early stages.
Kurmond Goddess could add some value to your exotics, she is much better than her form reads and she will appreciate the slight drop in class.
Top Four: 6 – 3 – 7 – 8
Suggested Bets
Win bet on Schooner Doll with William Hill
Boxed Quinella: 3,6,7,8 ($6 for 100%)
Exacta: 3,6,7/3,6,7,8 ($9 for 100%)
Trifecta: 6/3,7,8/Field ($18 for 100%)

Deborah Lee is a lid pinger and she should get a fairly cheap lead in this event. Three starts back she set the Dapto track alight with a slick 29.94 win and if she lands on the lure tonight she should be able to go well under the 30 flat mark. There are a couple of handy ones in this event but they are all slow beginners and they will be giving her too big of a head start.
Once A Drifter has a massive engine but he can be very slow to begin at times, if he can balance up in the first four he should be right there at the end. Two starts back he looked ultra impressive when powered to the line here and won here in 30.25, it will pay to ignore the winning time as he did find a lot of bother in running.
Winsome Amanda has a smart 30.01 PB here and she is better than her form reads, she can be a little hit or miss early but if she comes out she should make her presence felt.
Despicable Lea is the interesting runner, she has not raced for over six months but when last in work she did have strong Tasmanian form.
Top Four: 6 – 4 – 5 – 1
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Deborah Lee
Quinella: 6 to rove with 1,4,5 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 4,5,6/1,4,5,6 ($9 for 100%)
Trifecta: 6/1,4,5/Field ($18 for 100%)

Adam Handler is a classy type on his night and he is drawn to get the run of the race. I’m expecting the red to bounce to the early lead and he should drop in for a nice sit in the early stages, he is quite strong so he should reel her in as they turn for home and he will race away for an easy victory.
Queen Esther has been a great chaser for a long time and she is drawn to be in the mix for a long way again. She isn’t quite hitting the line that well these days so I dont think she can win but she should hang on for some minor money.
Watto Lotto is a classy veteran and he will be steaming home at the end, this is a slight class drop for him and with some luck in the first 50-metres he should make his presence felt.
Big Bad Brenda could add some value to your exotic bets, she will get back early but she should find the rail easily and she could pick off a couple of stragglers in the run to the line.
Top Four: 2 – 1 – 7 – 3
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Adam Handler with William Hill
Quinella: 2 to rove with 1,3,7 ($3 for 100%)
Exacta: 1,2,7/1,2,3,7 ($9 for 100%)

Brad Hill Billy is a star Tasmanian chaser and he made his presence felt on the mainland with a dazzling 29.82 heat win here last week. On that occasion he missed the kick and powered to the line, I’m expecting him to begin a lot better tonight and that should allow him to settle in the top three early and it will be interesting to see what time he can put on the board with a clear run.
Constable Sniff is another exciting prospect and he caught the eye with a solid 30.11 heat win, I’m expecting him to set the pace tonight and that should allow him to go under the 30 second mark. I don’t think he can hold the yellow out in the run home but he should give a great sight.
Store Book is well drawn out wide and he will hit the line strongly, he will get too far back early to score but he can sneak home into third or fourth spot.
Fab Surfy is another front runner and he should give a bold sight, he made his debut here last week and he was far from disgraced when placed in very fast time.
Top Four: 5 – 4 – 6 – 8
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Brad Hill Billy with William Hill
Boxed Quinella: 4,5,6 ($3 for 100%)

Jewel Action returned to her best with a dazzling 29.68 win here last week and she isn’t too badly drawn out wide in this event. She normally boxes quite well and she musters speed at a rate of knots, so with an even getaway she should be able to drive to the early lead and they won’t get near her if she reels off another 29.70 run.
Dear Darcey continues to impress and after a slow start in his heat he managed to work to the line well and score a smart 30.01 win. I’m expecting him to begin a lot better tonight and if he does he will go a lot quicker on the clock.
Lorna Belle has come up with the good draw and if she holds them out she will make an impact. My only concern with her is that she seems to be the type of chaser who pings and wins or if she misses it away she throws in the towel, however from the red she must be respected.
Winsome Senor is the run on type in the event, he will get too far back to score but he is a must for your exotic bets.
Top Four: 7 – 5 – 3 – 1
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Jewel Action
Quinella: 7 to rove with 1,3,5 ($3 for 100%)

Opus Forte is a beast when on song and he is much better than his recent form suggests. He is suited to the wider draw tonight and if Knight Sprite stays out of his way in the early stages he should get every chance to score. He should be each way odds tonight and he is a great value bet.
Zipping Midge has been a little inconsistent of late but she is much better than that and she is drawn to get a fairly clear run early. She has a great record here and if she settles in the top two early she will take some stopping.
Father Skeeta has raced well from the red draw in the past and if he happens to step away he could hold them out early, he is capable of running quick sectionals when on the lure and he could be well over the odds.
Knight Sprite is the in form chaser and he needs to be respected, this is clearly his toughest test but he has worked his way through the grades nicely
Top Four: 6 – 3 – 1 – 5
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Opus Forte

Spacecraft has been a little disappointing in his past couple of runs but I’m expecting him to ping away tonight and if he finds the top early they won’t get anywhere near him. Three starts back he was airborne through the first marker and reeled off a blistering 29.62 overall. He should be around the $3 mark and that is a great bet.
La Grand Logie is drawn to be prominent for most of the journey and he has been racing quite well of late, he isn’t overly strong in the run home but he should be able to hang on for some minor money.
Bessy Boo destroyed a similar lineup here last week when winning in 29.76 and he must be included in your exotic bets. He might get too far back to score but he is a great anchor for third and fourth in your exotic bets.
Chica Destacada rounds out the winning hopes, she can be hard to follow but she is explosive when on her game.
Top Four: 3 – 1 – 6 – 4
Suggested Bets
Win bet on Spacecraft with William Hill
Quinella: 3 to rove with 1,4,6 ($3 for 100%)

Zipping Saxon is going to get a long way back early, but this is a big drop in class for him and if he gets into some open spaces mid race he should be powering home and he will prove too strong for his rivals. He has trialled here in a blistering 29.66 and to win this race he is probably going to need to go just under the 30 second mark. If you can get around $3.50 that is a great price.
Ritza Rossie has recorded three great placings here in recent weeks and he is nearing a win. He isn’t a brilliant beginner but he does muster speed quite well and he should settle in the top three early.
Mrs. Huang comes here with great 400-metres Bulli form and she should lead them a merry dance, the last 50-metres is a concern but she might be able to hold on for a place.
Top Four: 3 – 6 – 1 – 4
Suggested Bets:
Win bet on Zipping Saxon
Quinella: 3 to rove with 1,4,6 ($3 for 100%)

Prince Zesta has been a little disappointing here in recent weeks but he has come up with the good draw tonight and with a clean getaway he should be leading throughout. Four starts back he ran the hands off the clock when posting a sizzling 29.62 at Gosford and that type of run would see him win with ease tonight.
Cosmic Shower is a real up and comer and he has some very fast wins at The Gardens in recent weeks, the box draw is a slight concern but with a clear passage he should make his presence felt.
My Gangsta and Exterminator are the two run on types in the event and they need to be included in your exotic bets. They will get too far back to score but they could fill third and fourth quite easily.
Top Four: 1 – 4 – 5 – 7
Suggested Bets
Win bet on Prince Zesta
Quinella: 1 to rove with 4,5,7 ($3 for 100%)
Trifecta: 1/4,5,7/Field ($18 for 100%)
