This race features quite a few front runners so I've decided to go with the very strong Mr. Corsair. He has been placed in three of six over this trip and his effort here three runs back when placed behind Ruff Cut Diamond was enormous. He is likely to settle back in the field again but with so many front runners I'm expecting there to be a fair bit of buffeting up front and that should allow him to settle a little closer than normal.

Ritza Ruby notched up a hat trick of wins here last week and she should continue to maintain her good form. She won't get the lead as cheaply tonight but she has shown great strength of late and it's hard to see her finishing outside of the top three. Avondale Maurick was never out of trouble here last time out and he is likely to show improvement, he is super talented when he is given room in the early stages and he could be the value bet in the event. Queen Marina rounds out the chances, she is out of form at present but she has enough speed to hold them out and she could run a cheeky race at odds.

Ella Has Class hasn't had much luck in recent weeks but she did turn in a big performance when placed at Dapto behind the exciting Fantastic Spiral two runs back. She is normally very good to begin and she does possess a nice turn of foot, so if she can get away cleanly she should find herself in a prominent position throughout.

Black Bronco has been racing in much stronger company of late and he could be the value, he has been placed in five of nine here and he has been hitting the line nicely in his most recent efforts. From the two box he should be able to settle just off the speed and he should make a good move mid race. Kasinda has the speed to lead and she has posed two solid placings here of late, if she happens to cross early she is likely to give a great sight again. Senorita Pearl can be a hard chaser to follow, when on the bunny she is capable of anything and her sizzling 29.52 Gardens win is evidence of that, however when headed early in the event she tends to turn it up.

Go Jetta Go is highly talented and he looks well placed in this company. His form has been a little inconsistent of late but two runs back he looked impressive when he powered to the line for a commanding 42.39 win here. He is likely to settle mid field again tonight but the smaller field will definitely help and he should round them up mid race, this is clearly the easiest race he has contested for a while and he looks the goods.

Rosey Gardens is better than her form reads and from the red she should be able to pounce on the bunny and regain some confidence. She has won here previously in a solid 42.49 but this is her first 700m try for a while so she may need a run or two. Miss Fiction is the run on type in the event and she should be thereabouts at nice odds. This is a drop in class for her and she only needs a little bit of luck mid race to make an impact. Number Crunch rounds out the chances, he doesn't win very often but he is always thereabouts so he must be included in your exotic bets.

La Grand Logie has been racing in much stronger company of late and from the red he should get every chance to lead throughout. Four starts ago he pinged the lids and won here in a solid 30.28, however his two placings after that were probably more impressive than his victory. He is armed with brilliant early speed and it's hard to see him getting headed early on.

Marlow Man was a brilliant 29.82 winner here two runs back and a repeat of that would see him figure prominently again. He musters speed quickly and he should match motors with the red for most of the journey. Kurmond Goddess was far from disgraced when placed here from this draw last week and she should be in the mix again, she has broken 30 seconds here previously and she can show good early speed in her races. Encapsulate looks to be the only other winning hope, he has been placed in five of six here and he has a more than handy 29.94 PB. He should get a nice cart across from Marlow Man early on and he should be able to make an impact.

Zipping Zoro looks well placed in the pink box and he should get a nice cart across from Debbie's Prince in the early stages. He normally is slow to begin but he does muster speed well and he should get plenty of room early on. With three wins from 14 tries here and a further six placings, it's hard to see him not featuring in the money from the favourable draw.

Zulu Mystique is armed with blistering early speed and she looked super impressive when winning at in 29.58 last week. If she can get away cleanly and hold them out early she will take a power of beating. Can OF is going to be well supported and he is an excitement machine, my only concern with him tonight is that there is a heap of speed drawn around him and he may get squeezed out in the early stages. He does have a ridiculous 29.47 PB here though, so he can probably still feature even if he does find some trouble in the run. Debbie's Prince has the speed to lead and he was a solid 30.07 winner here two runs back, I dont think he can win tonight but he should be good enough to hold on for a place.

Anything Less is an absolute super star in the making and he is drawn to win tonight. He has won eight of ten over this trip and at least six of those wins have been around the 29.60 mark. He has the ability to lead or come from off the speed in his races and it will take a mighty effort from one of his competitors to beat him.

Zipping Willow is another with a terrific record here having won 16 of 21, she returned to form with a handy 29.76 win here last week but she did get a little tired in the run home. She is obviously going to be much better for the run and if she crosses Anything Less early she will make him work hard for victory. Watto Lotto is the run on dog in the event and at four and half years of age he is still going well, he is better suited to a rails draw but he generally misses the kick and that should allow him to lob onto the rail soon after the start. King Cobber set the track alight here last time with a blistering 29.60 win here and a repeat of that would see him figure prominently. Tonight's event is a big rise in class but he should run a cheeky race either way.

Knot Telling Ya has a great record over this track and trip and his effort when narrowly beaten here last time was eye catching. After a steady get away he showed a great turn of foot and lobbed behind the leader, he then made a late lunge and only went down by less than half a length and they recorded a sizzling 29.73 in that event. With slow beginners all around him tonight he should be able to drive to the early lead and it will take a big performance to reel him in.

Gradence will be running on like usual and looks a great quinella prospect, he always seems to find one or two better but he is rarely far away and he is a great anchor for second and third in your exotic bets. Ritza Raider turned in a strong performance when placed here last week and he should be thereabouts again, he can show early speed at times and he might actually settle a little closer to the speed than normal tonight. Edge has the good draw tonight and he should be able to hold a prominent position in the early stages. He is first up from a short spell so he should be primed for a bold showing.

Fantastic Spiral is in rare form and he is aiming for his six win in a row. Last week he showed a tremendous turn of foot soon after the start and he stopped the timer at 5.37 as they passed the post. If he can show a similar turn of foot tonight he should be able to cross early and its hard to see him being run down when running around the 29.70 mark on the bunny. His box manners and speed mean he is always a competitor in these types of races and he will be a major player in better races in the future.

Zipping Weston has the good draw and he posted an impressive 29.77 heat win from this pin last week, however I'm still a little concerned with him as he doesn't begin well and there is a heap of speed drawn around him, if he goes around at $4 then he is value but anything shorter than $3 I would be looking elsewhere. She's Ayce is the value, two starts ago she posted a strong 30.67 Canberra win and she followed that effort up with a smart heat placing here last week. She is likely to settle mid pack again but she is an improving type and she should run a big race at nice odds. Topper Road should settle on the speed and he is showing promise, he will need to go a little quicker than 30.01 to win but if he happens to pounce on the bunny he could probably go sub 29.90.

Logan John is a faultless beginner and he should have more than enough natural speed to cross tonight. His last 50m can be a worry sometimes but this race doesn't feature a lot of strong competitors so whoever wins the battle in the first 100m should come away with the prize. He has posted a handy 30.01 here previously and a similar time tonight would see him get the win. Fancy Chance is much better than his recent form reads and he should follow Logan John across in the early stages. He has won three of eight over this trip and he only needs some space early to regain some confidence. Linski turned in a strong performance when placed here last week and he shouldn't be too far away again, he is likely to get too far back early to win but he should be running home into a place. Magic Dream rounds out the winning hopes, he was very unlucky here last week when narrowly beaten and he deserves a change of luck.

Stilton Blue was a tad disappointing here last week but he should be able to cross to the lead again tonight and he should be better for the run last time out. He is armed with blistering early speed and he should be able to build up a nice lead mid race, obviously the last 30m is going to be a concern again but I think he should have enough in hand to score.

Garrdice has a big engine and if he can avoid early bother he should run a monster race. Four starts back he defeated super star sprinter Anything Less here in a smart 29.88 and on that occasion he showed great early speed. Our Lady Di has the speed to settle in the top three early and she was solidly placed here last week, I dont think she can win tonight but her early speed means that she is a great place hope. Tribal Beat has the good draw and he should get a nice sit in the early stages, three starts ago he turned in a strong performance to win here in 30.12 and he looks very well placed tonight.
