Wentworth Park tips and best bets

There is a short break in the racing at Wentworth Park but don't fear the is not far away with qualifying happening all around the state but here at greyhound H.Q we have a nice 10 race program that is kicking off nice and early so get in quick and good luck with your investments and I hope you find a few winners..

Race 1: NSW GBOTA Welcome 5th Grade 520m

Fantastic Trixie broke her maiden in good style when returning from a break at Maitland on the 4th and is engaged Wednesday night. She looks to have promise and is in astute hands and draws perfectly down on the fence. Send It Tiger is another racing in great heart and another engaged on Wednesday night ( so check the races and see how they go) but loves a low draw and showed good pace and determination to lead and win here 10 days back. Rusty Kade looks the better of Benjamin Talbot's duo but this is a tough race to be making your Wenty debut in and Bugatti Leap might get a nice trial behind the pace and has minor claims. Skipper's Light won nicely at Bulli last time but this is harder.

Race 2: Ladbroke It! 5th Grade 520m

Aston Barak, Murray's Way and Cop Magnet all go around on Wednesday night so it might give you a guide as to how they will line up here. Cop Magnet will Show pace and will probably lead and will be better for recent racing since returning from injury. Aston Barak showed a little of what he possesses in heat of the MDC at Goulburn and Murray's Way is unbeaten off the red box. Throw in Hyperventilate who just couldn't quite cross Cop Magnet last Saturday when trying to lead and is better boxed under him and the strong Four Five who came from nowhere to grab 2nd in that same race and we have a great race and I haven't even mentioned Miss Hyped Up who got a lovely run through along the fence to win the last here on Egg night but is awkwardly drawn again. A very good fifth grade with lots of chances but I have gone.

Race 3: Happy Easter from Wp 5th Grade 520m

Club Model who is engaged on Wednesday night looks the leader and as a result if she does lead will be hard to beat. There is no real pace under her and she might just slip away with this. has strung a couple together before taking on the group 3 race and will appreciate the drop back in grade and is the big danger despite being awkwardly drawn outside the pace. Cawbourne Olive has been consistent without being brilliant at the provincials and deserves a shot here. Magic Hulk might sneak a place and the same could be said for Calvin who might get the breaks along the fence.

Race 4: MDC Coming Up 5th Grade 520m

Tap Out Diesel got up in the last stride 10 days ago and is engaged on Wednesday night and will appreciate the low draw and with an ounce of luck be very hard to beat. Powder Finger has had a nice little break and will go well fresh but might be looking for further now. Smokey Cape loves the inside and only missed a place once in 8 goes but hasn't shown his best here recently and ran 30 dead here a month back and a repeat of that would have him in the firing line.

Race 5: Ladbrokes Same Race Multi 5th Grade 520m

Sharkey Wish is honest and has picked up a in 8 of his last 10 draws nicely outside a moderate beginner and this race isn't tough. Cawbourne Helm won her in great style a month ago off this box and no reason he can't do that exact same thing tonight. Shinya won here 3 starts ago in moderate time and showed a glimpse of his best at Bulli in his latest. Cawbourne Hooper and Impress Raja are minor chances in a very open race.

Race 6: Ladbrokes Cash In 1-3 Win Final 5th Grade 520m

The runners all qualified for this final on the 6th of April and did very nicely from an awkward draw to race away and stop the clock at near enough to 30sec. he is 1 from 1 off the 1 and looks the dog to beat in this final. Context deserved his shot in town after some good form at Casino and lived right up to it with a good win off this box. Would need to improve but that was his first look here and they often do improve after a run or two. Lightning Ethics was having only career start 3 in the heats after contesting the big maiden series and chased Context all the way and will be further improved and could be good value from out wide. Redbank Molly has shown good pace and just struggled with the distance but is at peak fitness now and may be the early leader. Battle Born was good sitting off the Speedy Redbank Molly and putting her away easily. He wanted to rail everywhere and so the 4 is not terrible for him but will need early luck to get a position.

Race 7: Blink Print Non Graded 720m

The stayers step up for the next and it looks a race in 3… Stanley Road, who doesn't know how to run a bad race and ran 3rd in the group 1 last week, he loves the inside and will get his chance again tonight but he will need to run down the speedy Super Estrella who got cut out by one of the best in the business in that same race when looking for the lead and still was gallant to finish 4th…Looks the leader in this race and with the vacant box under her she is a different stayer when in front and Catch Me Nero who has had a few weeks break and might be very hard to beat fresh .Of the rest Nimble Lulu is very strong and will stay all day but will be giving them a start and the 2 Hawk dogs are only a rough place chance.

Race 8: #getyourgreyhoundon 3rd/4th Grade 520m

A nice graded race and Charmaine Roberts brings a couple of runners to town but both have had a few chances and are only place hopes. March Legend was in outstanding form before taking on harder races and will appreciate being back against his rightful grade and has an impressive 29.87 win here. Mickey Doo has always promised to be the next big thing and is not yet 3 years old. Has a good strike rate but does use a bit of the track but is top class ran a great second in the Bulli MDC final. Coast Model has lacked her usual early zip of late and would need to find it again if she wants to beat this field and Sally's Reward who won the Paul Wheeler on Saturday night in a tremendous performance running both good sectionals and overall time and she is the dog to beat will get good cover from the 7 and should lead all the way.

Race 9: Where Else but Wenty 5th Grade 520m

Electric Dreams began well but couldn't cross from box five on Saturday night and now that she has box 1 might well find the lead in this and be hard to run down. Panorama ran 2nd in that same race showing good mid race pace before just fading in the run home. Will be fitter and improved for her first look here and is a definite threat. Kiwi Fantasy will appreciate coming back to a 5th grade after contesting the final of the and has good pace and is strong and is the class runner. Super Aussie is the other runner dropping back from the listed classic series and whist his form is super he is not well drawn out here in box 8 and will need to show his early abilities to win this. Tap Out Sniper is the strong dog in the race but can't give away too much head start.

Race 10: wentworthpark.com.au Masters M1/M2/M3 520m

The old-timers conclude the program tonight and it is an open masters race. drops back from the Masters Series over the carnival and should be cherry ripe to win this tonight. Artic Kingdom turned 4 last week and will celebrate with his first masters run and is a winning chance. Ritza Gloria is another only just starting a masters career and is a top quality chaser. Ritza Donald has won 8 races here and is having his second ever masters start and Crazy Old Goat competed in the masters series but was moderate.
