It is great to see the stayers, maidens and battlers all getting a race, and there are some tremendous restricted-class events as well. Australian Racing Greyhound has cast an eye over the fields and come up with a few top selections.

Race 4: Depeche (1)

Depeche suffered her first defeat in the 1 Peter Mosman Opal heats back in June and has been freshened up for this campaign. She is much better drawn near the fence and gets box one here. She improved over her first three runs to post a quick 29.58 personal best, and while she may not go that quick first-up, keep your eyes on her as she heads towards the Million Dollar Chase qualifiers.

Spring Tesla has shown his ability with back-to-back wins at Dapto and . He’s only had two runs here, both off terrible middle draws, and has a quick second to show for his efforts. He is much better drawn in box one, and if he can hold the fence in a race with some early pace, he should be able to lead all the way.

has only placed three times in his last 12 starts, but he’s been mixing his grades and will find this race significantly easier than his last couple. He will get lots of room to move early on, with two slow beginners underneath him that will head hard to the fence. If he can find his 29.74 form and his early pace, he will take some beating.
