2010 Coursing Gets Under Way At SA’s Virgina Track

The 2010 season opened with a 9 event program – with a mixture of old faces and new faces – and the winners were shared around.

Rolland Parry started the season well with a double provided by Parsipanny and Yuengling with Parsipanny taking the time honours for the day in 15.18.

Laurie Cahalan is never far away when it comes to producing a handy youngster and Octahedron didn’t let the team down.

Shaun Matcott, Justin Penn, Peter Hurley, Bill McAvaney, Todd Kelly and Des Denton all started the season with wins.

Our next meeting is scheduled for 2 May and our carryover Jackpot has now reached over $1000 – makes for a handy winner’s prize.

Owners/Trainers are reminded that prizemoney is now paid by GRSA on the Wednesday following our meeting – please ensure that all your bank details are up-to-date.

Past Discussion

  1. That Mick Louth Collide-Mohar litter has been a good one…. If im not wrong, they’ve won in three states now, with Sandhog and Sitka winning plenty of races in WA and Parsipanny and Yuengling winning here in SA, after all having success in Tassie.
